Have we tackled the subject yet of Kol Skywalker's mother?

there are a bunch of threads where we've taken up the Fel lineage (please, God, not here too....) but i don't recall us ever covering Cade's.

i have read enough here to understand that Cade is Kol's son. i assume that Kol is the son of Ben Skywalker. but have we any concrete theories as to who Kol's mother might be?

i'm sorry to say that there is at least the hint in Invincible it might be Tahiri . so if we take out the factor of an unknown character (which it could be) who else (if anyone) comes to mind as a possible future Mrs. Ben Skywalker?

and so help me God, if anyone says Allana, i'm gonna break somebody....

 

Tahiri can't be Kol's mother without a long stay in stasis etc or some wonder tech, as she would have been about 80 years old when Kol was born. And Ben is probably Kol's grandfather, although I would prefer if there wouldn't be a generation between them.

 

I think Kol is Ben's grandson.

Ouch, a combination Legacy family line thread and a Ben romance thread. This isn't going to end well.... (Just kidding)

Anyway, no, no clue as to who Kol's mother (or grandmother) might be. There are also no real clues yet as to who Kol's father might be either. Sure, given the time line, there's a slim chance it could be Ben, but there's nothing definitive about that yet, and there still a few years for a generation or two to pass between Ben and Kol. Actually, assuming Kol was born somewhere around... 100 ABY, give or take a decade, there's no way he could be Ben's son, unless Ben has kids extremely late in life. Kol's more likely Ben's grandson or great-grandson.

Kol's wife is already a very important figure, no need to speculate even more about the Skywalker family tree. In the Legacy comics, we already have Luke, Cade, Kol and Nat, no need to bring in even more Skywalkers so far. And there's always those theories that Cade has a half-sister too.

Personally, I'm hoping they leave the complete Skywalker family tree mysterious for a long while, it helps to seperate the Legacy comics era from the rest of the Star Wars EU.

 

He does have a half-sister. Gunn Yage. Actually I have been speculating that she is actually his twin sister. Why would you want the comics seperate? It's all part of continuity.

 

That's still debatable, depending on when her second marriage was, and of course, the daughter's exact age. And you're right, she's already his half-sister, I got mixed up, I was thinking of the theories that she was Cade's full sister, not half-sister, which means she could be of Skywalker blood too. It could explain the piloting.

And I don't want the comics out of continuity, I just meant I like having the Legacy comics having their own era, independent of most of the other eras (though there are legacies, hence the title of course), like how the KotOR comic is mostly completely seperate from most other Star Wars EU stuff at the moment, except for Vector.

 

I really hope someone SOMEWHERE in the Skywalker family tree is an attractive (Actually, attractive is not really a prerequisite) young lady with no force skills, no political ties, No galaxy spanning influence...

We all know that the mothers aren't important in the Skywalker family after they pop out a kid or two, except for maybe Leia.

 

It's been stated that there are five generations from Luke to Cade. Therefore: Luke, Ben, ?, Kol, Cade.

Therefore, Kol is Ben's grandson. Leaving one unknown Skywalker male and two unknown Skywalker wives.

Luke
Luke + Mara = Ben
Ben + ? = ??
?? + ??? = Kol
Kol + Morrigan = Cade
Cade

 

That just doesn't make a lot of sense. There are reasons celebrities tend to date other celebrities, why the scions of big wealthy political families date each other, etc. It's a cute idea, but it doesn't really work.

Anyway, if we're talking about missing Skywalker descendents and parents, presuming Marasiah Fel is a Skywalker descendent, I want to know who her mother was and what happened to her.

 

Far as nobody Skywalkers go.

I'd imagine if there are any relatives of Shmi and their descendants they would qualify as Nobody Skywalkers.

 

Unlike Padme, I wouldn't say Nyna Calixte/Morrigan Corde is unimportant story wise.

 

I was speaking in general terms bud and also being half sarcastic.

 

Kol was supposedly born about 90 ABY. Nat looks like he could be at least a decade older than Kol, perhaps more. So I don't think that Ben, born in 26 ABY, should be thought to be an impossible choice to be their father. (I wouldn't mind a twist that it would be their mother, Ben's daughter, whom they got the last name of Skywalker. Of course, we can be pretty sure that they are descended in the male line from Luke.)

True, but he did it as part of dropping out of the whole Skywalker thing.

 

I'm not sure that he dropped out of it completely since he knew where the Hidden Temple while seasoned Jedi Masters didn't.

I don't know though. He FOUND the site before he dropped out per this quote...

But he helped BUILD it after he dropped out, I think, with support from these quotes.

"WE Helped THE JEDI build it in secret."

"Remember how WE had to rigged a disguised array on top of the rift and relay is below so the temple wouldn't be out of touch?"

It seems Droo is part of "We", which means he wasn't a Jedi when he helped build the thing. I'm not sure what his reasons for leaving the Jedi Order were, but I would think the Order would usually be a little skittish letting what is essentially a rogue force user set up their communications and sensor arrays.....

There is also the fact that Bantha is involved in the meeting that involves the upper tier Jedi, Cade, and the IK's. Rasi Tum seems like a somewhat important Master of the Order and his input isn't even wanted.

Gunn Yage is Kol's daughter, Cade's sister. I'm betting on a twist where we find out mommy was preggers when she left Kol, and covered it up as somebody else's kid.
