Still, it wouldn't be surprising if he were called in for a Force Ghost scene or two.

Boy, you guys really are desperate. Jumping all over a couple pictures just because they grow facial hair? They're men! Men grow beards! They should be able to do that any time they want without the paparazzi stalking them and making comments about where they might be working next. If a new role demands it, there's your answer. If not, that's why they make scissors and razors. Geez, guys!

I sure hope he doesn't have a beard if he's in Ep VII. As a force ghost, I'd find it odd if their physical appearance changes-they're supposed to be beyond that.

Also as someone mentioned before: Filming is way too far off to grow it now.

Besides, that's not much of a beard!! More like extra long peach fuzz! I wouldn't want to see THAT in a SW movie!!

 

Agreed. Christensen's beard is gross! He needs to trim that up. Now McGregor looks more like he did in ROTS! Give him some wrinkles and grey hair and you have ghost Obi-Wan.

Edit: Is it sad that this news, which probably has nothing to do with Episode VII, makes me happy? It's something new to talk about. WE NEED SOMTHING SOLID TO TALK ABOUT!!!

 

I'd love to see Hayden return as Anakin via a Force ghost in the sequel trilogy. I've been a supporter of the change in ROTJ for a while, but seeing Hayden as Anakin speaking to an older Luke or the son/daughter of a Skywalker/Solo would really cement the ROTJ change for me.

 

Beards are completely relevant to force ghosts. This just in, Jake Lloyd is growing a beard to reprise his role as force ghost child Anakin Skywalker.

Pretty wizard if you ask me.
