I am "new" to this forum, and am looking for new friends! Originally, I created an account here over 7 years ago, but I never ended up using it. At this point, I am finding myself in a very challenging place in life; The short story is that my mental health has led to some very difficult times. For that reason, I thought it was wise to try to connect with people who shared similar interests. What better than to look to Star Wars as a way out of the darkness! Some things about my love of Star Wars... I have loved it since a child, and grew up on the Prequels. I also always felt connected to Anakin Skywalker, and for that reason he is my favorite character. His fall into to the dark side, and redemption without a doubt one of the greatest stories ever told. I own every single Star Wars adult book that has ever been published, and am a avid reader; Currently, I am planning a Chronological Reader of the entire Legends timeline. I have already read a decent chunk of the Star Wars Literature, and felt I had enough of a handle on the timeline that reading it chronologically wouldn't hurt. Some of my favorite novels include the Legends Thrawn Trilogy, Kenobi, Darth Bane Trilogy, and really anything from Timothy Zahn. My Favorite movie is probably a tie between The Empire Strikes Back, and The Revenge of the Sith I also play a decent amount of Star Wars video games, I used to play Battlefront 2 (the new one) obsessively and got pretty good at it! I plan to eventually beat Jedi Survivor and Outlaws. I think its wonderful to be able to share such a love of the universe, and all the the positive influences it brings to our lives! More than anything, I hope to find some amazing friends to share this love with. May the Force Be With You!

Speaking as somebody who can relate to a lot of what you wrote in your introduction, welcome! Not sure how far back your love of Star Wars gaming goes, but there's a remaster of Episode I: Jedi Power Battles dropping later today, which might be of interest. Otherwise, I just hope you'll have fun around here!
Welcome mate! Late to the party but that's the price I pay for living on the other side of the planet! I love a good SW Read and have a bookcase full to prove it. Not a gamer though. You've been guided in the right direction by @Lady_Belligerent to discuss reading, and @DarthIshyZ is right, join them in the many Cantinas over the boards. If you need help getting around or finding something, don't hesitate to ask, very happy to help you.
