Sorry, i know it is explained in the Core book(wich i own) but after reading it like 10 times, i dont get it.. I know how a character gets points, dark-side etc etc.. But i dont get own to use them??? example, if i have 5 points, does this mean i can use 5 FORCE POWER during a battle?? Or it means i can uses 5 force power in my characters life(wich would be extremely stupid)??? And what does the Light/dark side bonus dice do???

Thanx alot in advance... And yes maybe i am stupid;)

Ok its not too difficult...I think you are getting caught up in semantics. So here are the definitions.

Force Points - Force points are awarded for extremely heroric actions and once per level up. Force points can be spent one at a time to boost die rolls based on the dark/light side die.

Dark Side Points (DSP)- When a player calls on the dark side, uses a Dark Side power, or does something very bad (killing someone begging for mercy, killing someone unarmed) or for Jedi if they violate the jedi Code they receive a Dark Side Point. Once the total number of Darkside points equals half of that players wisdom he/she is tainted. Every level they must make a Will save vs. DC of 10 + the number of DSP they gained that level. If they fail the check they are consumed by they Dark Side. Once a players DSPs equal their Wisdom score they are automatically consumed by the Dark Side. (THESE CANNOT BE SPENT LIKE FORCE POINTS!!!)

Light Side Die - When the user wishes to spend a FORCE POINT he/she gets an xD6 bonus to ALL d20 rolls that round. x is dependant on class.

Dark Side Dies - When the user wishes to spend a FORCE POINT he/she gets an xD6 bonus to ALL d20 rolls that round. x is dependant on class. The player also receives a DSP for calling on the darkside.

    I hope this helps.

OK i understand a little better! But then Force points are useless since they are spent and then you never get them back... So in basic you have 1 chance of making your D20 better each level.. Ones spent, it doesnt come back right???

So the character can use as many Force power as he wants??

Well they accumulate over time. You should only spend them in dire needs. My Character is a Jedi Guardian 7/ Jedi Weapon Master 2 and I have 5 Force points. You are only supposed to spend one per round...but you don't want to use them unless you have to.

The GM can deem that the Force Point was spent in the defense of others, a dramatically appropriate time, etc.. and give the Force Point back at the end of the story.

For example, if I spend a Force Point to boost my Move Object to keep a column from collapsing onto two fellow Jedi, my GM would deem that a temporary Force Point expenditure, and give it back to me at the end of the story. Furhter, the GM may give me another free Force Point if I succeeded, because that task was in fact so heroic.

Gaining new Force Points like that, though is difficult, and as the previous post stated, using them too much is both annoying and grounds for losing them easily. Also have to remember that spending a Force Point creates a disturbance in the Force, something not many Jedi want to do if the campaign is set in the Rebellion Era. ;)

Don't forget that Non-Force Sensitives can only have a total of 5 force points, any gained above 5 the character simply does not get.

Force Sensitive characters are not limited in this way and may have any number of force points.

If you have the latest version of the d20 system their stats are in the "Eras of Play" section if I'm not mistaken.
