May is going to be a very big month for us SW fans, for obvious reasons. We can't divulge details just yet, but there WILL be HUGE events all over Metro Manila.

Ther eis also, of course, NEW WORLDS EPISODE III: The 3rd Philippine Sci-Fi and Fantasy Convention, on May also.

Thanks very much.Nice to be back.I hope those events will be held nearby.One time there was a Star Wars event held at Alabang Town Center.Too far for me.Never been there,might get lost.Megamall is better.I'll keep an eye and ear out for those events.Hopefully,Star Wars stars come over here.I would love to see Harrison Ford in person.That would be cool.

Well paano ba yan about 60+ days to go till EP:3? Sayang lang am not in pinas anymore kasi will miss those darn giveaways the foodchains like KFC gives out. Kasi i stil have mine from the first one that came out. Such a fan especial of Obi-Wan now....can't wait to see the movie?Hows about you guys?

Hi, Kyle! Well, the group is busy organizing the 3rd Philippine Sci-fi and Fantasy Convention (see related thread).

About the merch, it's Jollibee that's been coming out with the fastfood toys since Episode 2. They'll be doing the same for Ep3. The KFC/Burger King/Pizza Hut group didn't win the bidding, I think.

 

I remember going to KFC and hoping to get one of those Episode I collectibles.

 

Yeah, i know what you mean. Kasi i did try to get those kfc stuff to. Andi think i have some of them. Even have the special EP 1 bucket they had with me. As well as one they came out during the re-released for the original trilogy.

Nice, but then hay i had 2 of the SW EP:1 phonecard PLDT had. The one that had heros and the Villane.
Kaya lang darn it i lost the Villan one. My aunt borrowed it use a payphone and left it there. Kakainis but anyway i still have the Hero one and kept it safe.

Hello everyone in the Philippines!!!! My brother sent me a link to the Filipino website and I thought I'd drop by and say hello. I'm usually on the other forums and never thought to check for Philippines. From the gallery I saw that some of you made it out to CIII. We probably saw each other in passing and wondered "...are they Filipino?" My brother's an A-Wing pilot (not literally of course) but I kept saying that due to his similarity in features with the Clones he should just go as a Clonetrooper and not wear the helmet... this of course became a week long joke. When ever I saw someone with the same similarities I would say "Clone". It was all in good fun and I'm pretty sure all of you were cloned. Hope you guys had as much fun as we did! Now we're going through withdrawls...

...at ang lakas aye suma inyo!! (I hope that translates correctly not to mention is spelled correctly- I'm one of those "I can understand Tagalog but I can't put a sentence together to save my life")
