When I read "Dark Lord-The Rise Of Darth Vader" toward the end it has a chapter about Obi-Wan and when he finds out about Anakin surviving Mustafar.

    SPOILERS:
" Obi Wan gripped the lightsaber he carried in his robe.
Had he driven Anakin deeper into the dark side by abandoning him on Mustafar?
    Could he face Anakin again??
Could he kill him this time??(no because he got lucky the first :p )
His fear began to mount. His and Yoda's hopes for the future, dashed, just as the Chosen One had dashed the Jedi's hopes of bringing balance to the force-
    Obi Wan.
He came to an arupt halt.It was a voice he hadn't heard in years, speaking to him not through his ears, but directly into his thoughts.
"Qui-Gon!" he said. "Master!" Realizing that the locals were quickly going to brand him a madman if they heard him talking to himself, he dunked into a narrow alley between two stores.
"Master, is Darth Vader Anakin?" he asked after a moment.
Yes. Although the Anakin you and I knew is imorisoned by the dark side. " I was wrong to leave him on Mustafar. I should have made sure he was dead."
The Force Will determine Anakin's future. Obi-Wan: Luke must not be told that Vader is his father until the time was right.
"Should I take further steps to hide Luke?"
The Core Of Anakin that resides in Vader grasps that Tatooine is the source of nearly everything that causes him pain. Vader will never set foot on Tatooine, if only out of fear of reawakening Anakin.

That's alot but PLEASE DON NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T READ DARK LORD YET,BUT STILL SEEK TO.
, my question is how do you guys think Qui-Gon felt about Anakin after he turned to the darkside knowning that he urged the council and Obi-Wan to train him???

Pretty much how you'd expect him to react.

Profoundly shocked, disappointed, and a little bit angry while also feeling greatly sad for his apprentice to be. The fact that Qui Gon already knew about the Tusken Massacre though is something that says it'd probably didn't come as a complete shock to him though.

He's a Big Brother perv, that's what. Or Workplace Video Surveillance State Act 1996 stipulates you must give 2 weeks advance notice to staff before installation. Did he?

    I think not.

That's why I've always wanted to be able to hear what was said when Obi-Wan died, then Yoda, and finally Anakin while they are on the other side. Picture the conversations they must have had.

I wonder how many years it took Qui-Gon to stop saying "uh, sorry Obi, my bad" while he was on Tatooine.

Qui-Gon knew exactly what was going to happen. The moment he saw Anakin's midichlorian count, the future crystallized in his mind, and he played his part in it perfectly--He knew it could not come about without his "death."

He wanted the order to be wiped out, to start anew. He wanted a New Jedi Order to rise from the ashes of the old, with only the most basic knowledge of the old ways.

Qui-Gon Jinn was the Hugo Drax of the Jedi. Or the Karl Stromberg. Or, perhaps not coincidentally, the Ra's al Ghul.

I'm fairly certain Qui-Gon would not have wanted all the Jedi to die at the boy's hands. Qui-Gon was an idealist who had specific thoughts on the role the Jedi served in the galaxy, to be certain, but he loved the Jedi order although he disagreed with it from time to time. He also ardently believed in the Prophecy of the one who will bring balance.

Also, remember the fact that he yelled, "Anakin! No!" when Anakin gave into his anger and destroyed the Tusken village.

Qui-Gon believed in the teachings of the Jedi, and believed Anakin would save them. He certainly did not anticipate Anakin's turn to the Dark Side.

With the Jedi gone, Qui-Gon and Vergere were free to dissemenate the Potentium heresy together...

Qui Gon knew the Dark Side, which was why he even warned Anakin from killing the Tuskens.

Under the Potentium heresy, what Anakin did could have been super rationalized as perfectly acceptable.

Further more, it was better that Anakin came under the tutelage of the Jedi first. Else, there would have been no hope of even a redemption. All hope would be lost since Anakin would be groomed first a Sith Lord than anything else.
