Since we all collect the books, how do you arrange them on your bookcase? I recently managed to acquire all of the mass market paperback SW novels to date, so I have them all proudly on display in my room. (I don't bother with hardcovers, though, nor comics or most of the young adult/junior books.) Also, forgive me if this thread is out of place somehow--despite my December join date, I'm very new at posting here!

Other than that, feel free to show off your own arrangements. Anyway, I group mine by series and in general order of release date, like so:

The only SW books I have on my bookshelf are The Trilogy Omnibus, Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor, LotF, a couple of essential guides so I've arranged them in chronological order with the reference books at the end.

I used to have them arranged chronologically. But then everytime a new book came out that fit in between, I'd have to move everything. Since I got fed up with doing that, I just stuff the books where there's space. If there is any. I need more shelves. :p

I have them arranged chronologically. I saw someone have it that way and realized the use of having it that way so once I got my books from storage I arranged them that way. I think Mindor is out of place cuz I wasn't sure where to put it.

I just put them anywhere on the shelf. I don't have that many so there's plenty of room. :p

pretty sure mindor would go right after bakura, since it's supposedly like right after that. either that or before bakura.

I thought that and then I didn't see those books on my shelf, so maybe its still in the boxes that I have to go get.

Mine are in chronological order. The bookshelf is sagging under all the weight. Only the most recent are out of order, since I didn't want to have to move everything.

Because of the sizes of the shelves of my bookcase, I have one section with hardcovers in chronological order, then another section with paperbacks in chronological order.

First I have the Essential Chronology, then the few comics that I have, then all my novels in chronological order. In total I have about three shelves of Star Wars books.

I forgot that we took pics for the Lit thread a little while ago. So here's a pic. I've added three books to that in the last month and I have two more on the way.

The only Star Wars book that I own (of the ones I can find), is I Jedi. So, I just have it sitting on the table.

    I know, I'm pathetic, aren't I?

Haha, wow, it's so weird seeing some of those older hardcovers (Star by Star, Heir to the Empire) that I'm so used to seeing only in paperback!

    Also, you like horses. :3

Mine start out on shelves, then they get moved to piles here and there. There are three tall stacks beside the bed and others tucked into cabinets.:p

I need someone to organize my SW books... and my life.

Mine are alphabetized by title when they're actually in a shelf. The rest of the time, they're all over my desk.:p
