How Do You Compliment A Twin?

For no particular reason, this dilemma came into my mind today. Say you're dating a twin. Now, it's charming and chivalrous, etc. to compliment said lady. If you're referring to her looks, you would normally say something like "You're the most beautiful lady in the world, or existence, or whatever." However, if she's a twin, this is untrue, and you're probably asking for a slap.

I can't explain where this musing came from...

 

What if they're not identical twins?


Edit: And somehow, I think they know they're not ACTUALLY the most beautiful women in the world, but they like to hear it or some crap like that. Or that's what TV told me.

 

Ooooh right, TV. It's been a while since I watched the box with the funny pictures.

 

Tell her she's the better looking twin, and the other one has a lumpy head.

 

Does it matter? I mean, if they're both in the same place, just don't talk. Do, or do not the twins. There is no "complimenting."

As a twin, I can attest to the fact that NOT ALL TWINS LOOK ALIKE, FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD!!!!

Ahem. I've even known some identical twins where they look different.

Personally, I like being called the smarter twin, faster (as in running, not in anything else! ) twin, prettier twin (okay, I don't get that one very often...sad, huh?), etc. So...to compliment a twin, just tell her that she's way cooler than her twin or whatever.
