How Do You Make Your Own Jedi Name ????

I was told a long time ago that is a tried and trusted way to create your own Jedi name.
It was something like take the first half of your mothers name and the other half of your Fathers name to create your own unique Jedi Name.
Can anyone help me with coz it is driving me nuts

P.S this is my first attempt (actually it is my third attempt due to the fact I have been redirected from two other threads so thanks to admin for pointing me in the right direction so please let this be the right one) at a thread so please be gentle if it is pants

The one I recall is:

- First three letters of your last name
- First two letters of your first name
- First three letters of your mother's maiden name
- First two letters of the city you were born in

Hyphenate, etc. as neccesary.

at first i did not know how to make a jedi name now i am spoiled for choice

first you must quiet your mind and listen to the force. hear it speaking through you, the wall, the chair, your toaster... then you wil understand what your jedi name must be. as i have.

Maybe it's the other way around. Turn the last four letters of your first name inside out etc....

The first name must be Darth, though(I wonder if female Sith bear that name as well).

I'm not a Darth!! No way would I be a Sith. First off I wouldn't want to rule the Galaxy be in charge of it. It would take way to much responsibility. I would rather serve and protect than control something. Secondly I can't stand people to needlessly suffer.
