    suh-sill-uh

There's no ia at the end of the word, so there wouldn't be an ee-uh in the phonetics. [face_plain]

The person who it is named after pronounces her name "Chee-la". It's Hungarian for "star."

as the official namesake of the home planet as well as the capital city, i can tell you with complete assurance that csilla is pronounced "chee-lah." csaplar is "chop-lar"... the cs is a "ch" sound (hence why it would be suitable as the name of the home planet for the chiss.) (thanks pabs :))

Heh, I laughed, when I read the word Csilla. It's a name as well, and maybe it is in all languages, but I am Hungarian, and in the hungarian language we write it 'Csilla' too:)))
