How do you pronounce 'binoculars'

"Bi-noculars" makes no sense as there's no such thing as a "nocular" so it has to be "bin-oculars"

Odd why a telescope is not called a Monocular.

 

Or Binocular are not called Telescopes

 

Or a pair of glasses being called binocles

BIN-oculars most definitely.

I also call then 'binos'for short (by nose) but maybe that's because I hang around with too many saffers
