How far does Padmé know Anakin is the chosen one?

Does she ever know or know a little bit. Or she knows all of the circumstances.??
As far as i knows that he is the chosen one but how aware does Padmé about it?

You know, that's a good question.
It's never really brought up. We know Anakin knows, but did he ever tell Padme? She knows he's a powerful Jedi certainly.
Anakin wasn't always truthful with her, and if she knew he was the chosen one, I think she would have more readily denied him so he could do his fated duty. I'm going to say she didn't know, but I have no proof one way or the other.

 

Essentially, there is no proof of how much she knew or didn't know. It is an interesting notion.

I would like to believe that Padme knew that Anakin was this prophecized "Chosen One" by the Jedi. But again, the films don't give any proof whatsoever.

 

She knows. My guess is that off screen, Anakin wouldnt shut up about it.

ANAKIN: Does that mean you choo coo chooooose me?

PADME: *tired sigh* Yes, and that makes you the Chosen One. Now shuddup and come to bed.

 

It's discussed more in the novelization and in bits of the script that didn't make the final cut. She knew that he was the Chosen One and that he had to bring balance to the Force. In the novelization, she brings it up to Obi-wan and he comments that while he might be, they're not sure if he was meant to be a Jedi.

It definitely says she knows in the ROTS novelization.

But even if there wasn't that, why wouldn't she know? Everyone else seems to. The Council does not seem to make a secret of it. Anakin is special and no one ever questions why, so it seems that's because it's fairly common knowledge (among those close to him) that he's the Chosen One. And don't forgot Padme was on Tatooine when Qui-Gon found him, I doubt he made up some story about why they were taking Anakin off the planet, everyone knows that Jedi take their members as infants, so she would know Anakin was special in some way.

 

I do think by the novelization it is definite that she knows. Another clue may be the "You aren't all powerful" "well I should be. Someday I will be the most powerful Jedi." She certainly isn't thinking it's BS talk, she knows that he is powerful.

To further the question, how MANY OTHER people knew that Anakin was this "Chosen One"? Did the entire Senate know? It would seem that Palpatine would want to let the cat out of the bag to try to pump up Anakin's ego....

Probably anyone who wanted to know knew. It may not have been a TV documentary, but probably fairly common knowledge.

However, if Anakin knows, she must have been known tooo.

 

Did the rest of the Republic know? When Anakin became the 'poster boy'/Hero without Fear, did it ever come out that he was also the child of prophecy?

 

I don't think so. It doesn't say so, anywhere I can remember. Stover talks about how the general public feels about the Jedi heroes Obi-Wan and Anakin, but he doesn't mention they know he's some prophesized Jedi "Chosen One."

 

I think only the jedi, Padme and Palpatine knew
