Apart from Yoda, are there any Jedi that don't die violent deaths? I can't think of any.

Ulic Qel-Droma is the only one I can think of at the moment :)

But to be honest I haven't read the graphic novel/comic where he did die, i'm pretty sure it was a peaceful one, and he disappeared like obi wan and yoda.

Can't think of a single one apart from him

Yeah, Ulic was taken down by a cheap shot from Hoggon on Rhen Var in Redemption. Pretty sucky way to go-- especially when the guy's name is "Hoggon". :p

Marka Ragnos is a Sith that (I believe) died of natural causes. Bane probably died of natural causes as well.

Mother Rell, if you think she's a Jedi.

The 3 Sunriders (Vima, Nomi, Vima Da) all probably died of natural causes, I think.

There are others, they just aren't occuring to me at the moment.

Yoda. That we know of, anyway. There's legions of Jedi across time that we nothing about.

Supposedly there were a thousand years of peace between Ruusan and TPM. I can't imagine all the Jedi in that time died from little disputes that they helped mediate.

Vima Da Boda died of natural causes AFAIK in the post-ROTJ time period.

Wrong. Ulic was shot in the back by Hoggon and died of his wounds, not old age.

Well, the trouble is, the next round of Sith Wars occured not long after the Great Sith Wars, so it's rather hard to tell.

I don't think that we can safely say that the Sunriders died of old age, especially considering of the wars that happened afterwards. Vima would be about 30-45 around KotOR, wouldn't she? And Nomi would most likely still be around as well at that time. As would the rest of the TOTJ gang.

Still curious how Oss Wilum could've died near New Holstice...

(and I still say that Doneeta should've been the twi'lek on the council)

He doesn't need to - every Jedi who ever died's name was put into the memorial, irrespective of whereabouts.

I think prior to the Great Hyperspace War, and the Great Sith Wars, it was pretty possible for the Jedi to die of an old age.

However, with the Great Hyperspace War, a cycle of warfare was started, a thousand years later. The Great Sith War, in light of KOTOR I, began a long cycle of warfare stretching for nearly 50 years over. Lots of worlds were blown out of the sky, and the Sith Assassins didn't make things any easier. If any died an old age, it'd because they died in hiding.

And I think when KOTOR III (if it's to be made and completed) arrives, I suspect we will be introduced to another crisis.

As Palps said, "More Jedi will die."

Of course, there came a time when relative peace achieved, prior to the Clone Wars. Then Jedi can start dying peacefully.

I think that dying on the end of a Sith lightsabre counts as "natural causes" for a Jedi.

but it's not 'old age'... unless you argue that lightsaber wounds will prematurely age a jedi...

hmm.. poor Ood Bnar.. he lives to be in a very old age.. and then went boom!
