4-6 red bulls, to pots of coffee and some high sugared candy.

THe recipe that kept me awake for 27 hours during studying finals last year.

3 or 4. One of my housemates told about how a friend of his was completely wired after having 3 or 4 Red Bulls and vodka.

    LOL @ TEH FACE_PLAIN!

    [face_plain]

You don't need any to stay awake. My friend and I drank cider all night and stayed awake. Though we read the problem pages in my sisters girly magazines to keep us conscious :p

Isn't red bull illegal in some countries for the caffeine concentration?

    Here.

According to that chart, Mt. Dew from Canada does NOT have caffeine. [face_plain]

Edit: Rockstar wasn't on there. I wonder what it is?

I've got some hot sauce you can have. 12 mg. of caffeine per serving.

    Coffee > Red Bull

I tried a Tab energy drink the other day. I was curious. It tasted good but offered minimal energy, perhaps because there was no added sugar. I'll stick to coffee. (It's cheaper than Red Bull, too.)

Go for it. :D Red Bull is touted to "give you wings!", thus lifting you off the ground. That alone should not only keep you awake, but also take your mind off the fact that you ingested a small dose of ox bile. :)

I like the Sobe Rush, it really works for me. One time I was on my way to work and my dad was driving, and I was in the passenger seat barely keeping my eyes open, then we stopped at a gas station and I got a can of Sobe, by the time I was done that can I was wired.

If you need to rely on chemical means, I find coffee wholly sufficient. Otherwise, though, there are simple enough tricks. Don't ever lie down or even recline; always say sitting up. And make sure you sit cross-legged or in a normal chair, not, say, against a wall where your head can be supported. Whenever you start to get lethargic, get up and walk around, preferably outside. The fresh air will help. And shower are a definite plus. But if it's too warm and comfy this may make you sleepy, so a cooler shower is in order.

I prefer Mt. Dew Amp to Red Bull. If it is an emergency, caffeine pills work pretty well too.

I can usually make it 24 hours with regular caffeine intake from normal soda. If I am staying awake a little longer and I need to be doing work too, Mt. Dew Amps generally cover it, and maybe a caffeine pill or two.

The other day I had two Mt. Dew Amps in a row and I was a bit jittery and walking in odd patterns, but usually caffeine does not damage me.

Caffeine in general does nothing for me anymore.

Last time I got a decent Caffeine buzz was when I chewed a whole package of Black Black gum during a meeting.
