    How much is it?

In Betrayal, she pulls a lightwhip out of her thigh, so I'm guessing one leg at least. Her jaw is deformed, as we all know, and in Tempest a cybernetic arm was sliced off by Master Lobi.

Is that all, or is she like Anakin with no limbs at all?

I've been curious about this as well, from what I've read it seems like her legs and arms are cybernetic, but I dunno....

Her legs. Didn't you see the comic. She looked like a goddess in the bacta tank.

Well, take her first appearance as Lumiya in Marvel #88. When Leia hits her in the chest with a blaster shot, it looks like it's all silicon valley.

she does need a workshop to mantain herself, if she did not lose her legs she may very well need cybernetic grafts for 100% use of her legs.

I think in Tempest, it says that she can't eat solid food and has to live on an all liquid diet of juices. so that leads to the suggestion that most of her insides are robotic.

Seems like pretty much everything but her face and brain at this point.

Not necessarily. That just means she can't digest solid food because her intestines aren't working. Or since her jaw is messed up, maybe she just can't chew food?

As someone said, it may be that all that's left of Lumiya is just a heavily cyborged head and torso, with only her upper face being physically presentable.

On the other had, the only bits of Lumiya that we know are damaged are:

1.) Jaw. And this is possibly just scarring, as depicted in the Marvel comics; the description of it as "angular" in Exile, p. 82 could just mean it's naturally sharp.

2.) One cybernetic arm - the arm which Tresina Lobi cut off in Tempest, p. 94. At least, I assume this is cybernetic, as that's Alema's POV; also, it's not clear just how far towards the shoulder the prosthetic extends.

3.) At least one other robot limb - Exile, p. 81 refers from Lumiya's POV to "prosthetic limbs", plural, and at several points, she implies to Jacen that her limbs are mostly mechanical. Betrayal may indicate that she has a Robocop-style holster for her lightwhip in her upper leg - but it's conceivable that she could have simply had the lightwhip sitting against her hip, disguised with a Force illusion. At a minimum, though, she's missing one other limb beyond her robot arm, albeit perhaps only from the knee/elbow down. See below for discussion of her left arm being possibly intact?

4.) Damage to digestive tract. This is based on her dependence on liquid food in Tempest - but has anyone got the page reference to this, though? She may not be strictly limited to liquids, as she eats a synthetic grape in Exile, p. 83 - and dislikes the taste. It may just be pride and memory that make her contrast it with real grapes, but it may be that she's capable of eating well-chewed and mushy solid food.

On the other hand, it seems that there's a reasonable amount of her human body left; at the start of Exile (p. 81) she reflects on her biological body's enhanced healing capabilities, and we can make a list of bits of her that might still be biological.

1.) Her head (Exile, p. 82). Scarred skin is still real skin, and she wears a wig to disguise her graying hair.

2.) Parts of her body. A comparison of Tempest, p. 324 (Luke fires five shots, of which three hit her "chest") with Exile, p. 81 (where two shots are said to have hit "prosthetic limbs", and the other three "found meat") shows that her upper torso remains primarily organic; Exile, p. 83, also refers to pain in her "stomach" when she eats the grape, which sounds biological.

Abel's remark was, if nothing else, a cracking pun - but Tempest, p. 324 refers to her wearing what Luke thinks of as a "cybernetic life-support girdle" under her robes, which sounds like something worn around and on top of her body. She could have a natural Kiera-class cleavage, with extra silicon underneath her sculpted breastplate.

True, the name of the thing, "life-support girdle" suggests that she needs to wear this Vader corset to stay functional. But again, maybe that's just Luke's POV. We don't really know why she wears the circuit-print bodysuit - it could, for instance, be some form of Ssi-ruuk Force-manipulating technology, and she didn't seem to be wearing it in Betrayal.

3.) Her left arm?. In the Marvel comics, her left arm appears to be intact, although this could just be synthskin over a cyborg limb, like Luke has. Also, she might have lost the limb in the intervening decades - perhaps to Mara on Caprioril?

Anyone got any more for either list? o_O

In the original Marvel comic when she's in the bacta tank,we do see her legs, but in silhouette, and she's wearing what looks like a hospital gown in the tank itself, rather than the bikini top-diaper like things we've seen women wear in bacta tanks in Dark Horse's SW stuff,so it's kind of hard to tell what may or may not be cybernetic based on that alone.

Multiple conditions can cause a dependence on liquids. Damage to ANY part of the digestive tract (intestines, stomach, mouth/jaw area) could do it. Plus, frequent need to eliminate waste would be very inconvenient, and Lumiya may choose a liquid diet to reduce solid waste. Her calorie needs are likely low except when she accelerates her healing, because she's missing a lot of her organic body (and was not large to begin with) and she can conserve energy with the Force, which means she can get what she needs through liquids fairly easily. After an extended time on a liquid diet, her ability to digest solids would deteriorate, although it wouldn't be completely gone - small amounts of solids wouldn't cause horrible problems, although it might make her a bit ill.

It's strange really, her jaw is described as extremely scarred and deformed, and yet the times when we've actually seen it it looked pretty normal....

I really hope we get a Lumiya cover at some point that makes her look cool and awesome. Or at least some sort of art, something so that we can see more of what she looks like now.

It would be awesome if she was on the cover of Inferno. Speaking of that, does anyone know when we'll get a peek at that?

We hate the sort-of-cover, but probably the real one comes out only sometime after Sacrifice has been released. Whether showing the cover now would be a spoiler or whether they are just trying to hype it.
