How old are your grandparents?

It's my Grandma's 79th birthday today and it got me wondering.

My other grandmother is 84. Both are still going strong.

Both of my grandfathers are dead.

How about you?

 

one of my grandfathers just turned 80 yesterday. the other one is 78, i think. i'm not too sure how old my grandmothers are.

One grandmother is 76, I think? The other is 89. Women on my mom's side tend to live ridonk long, I had a great aunt die at 93 in January, and all of her sisters died in their late 80's/early 90's.

So, just so you guys know, I'll be here for awhile.

EDIT: I had a great grandmother live to 96.

 

My dad is as old as some of your grandparents

 

I do not have any left. On my dad's side I never met my grandfather because he died rather young, and my grandmother must have been in her 60's or 70's...I don't know I was only like 7. On my mom's side I'm pretty sure they were both in their 80's.

I have some sort of relative who is in her late 90's though.

 

All of my grandparents are infinite now.

 

1 grandmother died at 88 years old and the other died at 84.
My mother's father died/murdered in a hospital at 52 I think.
My mom was 16 at the time.
My father's father died storming the beaches of Normandy(non Stand By Me joke ) while my father was still in womb. Never met his own father.

I've only grown up remembering one, all the others died while I was still a baby. But my grandmother (dad's side) just turned 82 last week.

 

My father's parents are dead, however my mother's parents are both 85.

 

First grandparent, my matrilineal grandma Veronica, died in 1995... Leukemia. She was 72, I think.
Second grandparent, my patrilineal granddad Joseph, died in 1996... Parkinson's. He was 82, born in 1914.
Third grandparent, my patrilineal grandmother Ida, died in 2006... heart attack after complications of a stroke. She was 88, born in 1917.

That leaves my only grandparent left, my matrilineal grandpa, Jim. He's 84, but the "signs" are definitely there. I hope he makes it to my wedding day... I was kind of depressed my closest grandparent, Ida, didn't make it to my high school graduation.

My Gran is 74, Grandad is about 76? Somewhere about that.

The ones on my mum's side are dead. I never got to meet my grandfather from that side, which I'm pleased about. My elder brother doesn't have anything nice to say about him

 

No idea The only grandparent who's age I could remember was my mum's mother (my age+50) but she died two years. My father's father died last May, my father's mother is still alive I think she's reaching 80 and my mother's father is also reaching 80.

 

All of them are gone. My mother's parents died when I was quie young, father's lived till th wre in their 70's.

 

All my grandparents are dead. My granfathers both died before I was born. And my dad's mom died this past December.


But if they were still alive, they'd be...

Dad's parents: Dad; 96 or 97, Mom; 81

Mom's parents: Dad; 95 or 96, Mom; almost 90

 

I actually have always had something like three grandfathers, because my dad's biological father was a 24-hour man ho. Never really knew him, and he died a few years ago.

I was always close to my dad's step-father though, and he died in September of last year
