How old is Ahsoka?

Anyone know yet?

 

I am not sure if it has been given yet. But you could keep checking either the StarWars.com Databank or the Wookieepedia article to find out.

 

That's a good question and have no idea. But based on what we know, I would surmise that she's about 15 or 16.

 

She's 14

maderic is correct. Ahsoka is 11 years old at the time of the CW movie.

 

Interesting. 11 is a little young to be taking a child out into war. Interesting decision on his part.

 

Oh yeah, I remember that debate from a few months back. People thinking that 11 was too young and such because some people thought she was going to get Knighted.

 

Ahsoka strikes me as the age Anakin was at the beginning of AotC. It doesn't matter so much the exact age. The important thing is she is probably how old Anakin was only a few years ago. What separates them now is Anakin's maturity and experience gained since AotC.

 

She's either 11 or 14 and i'm aiming on 14 being the right age. Anways she's not human, so she may not really be a child as we know them.

She doesn't seem to be 19-20 years of age to me, going by what i've seen in the trailers so far. If she was that old she would be years into an apprenticeship with a Knight or Master already.

I'm betting my money on 14. 11 is a little too young to go into war and she looks efficient with a lightsaber which means she has a couple of years of training under her belt.
This way, if shes 14, she's still a young padawan who isn't due to be knighted for a few more years atleast, and she's old enough to be a little more mature to handle war and Jedi work.

Oh fair enough, I haven't gone through the official site closely as of yet because of my recent holidays. So it looks like they've actually upgraded her age, yes? Is there a quick link you could give me that indicates her age as being fourteen?

 

That's a very good point. I guess I just have a habit of thinking that most of the species are similar to us in that sense.

And I can't find anything saying how old she is...The Databank doesn't say anything, but Wookieepedia says:

If you go to the main page at the Official Site and go to the Clone Wars section, click on the Characters tab at the top. All it says for Ahsoka is, "a teenage Togruta Jedi Knight...". Then if you go to the official databank entry for Ahsoka, there's nothing at all in the two paragraph character description that mentions her age. That at least rules out her being 11 years old.

 

I've been there several times( as well as other pages) and the only ages that I have seen were 11 and 14. Read that if you haven't done so already..

Thanks for the link. As far as reliability, though, I don't think you can go with Wookieepedia over the Official Site, can you?

 

It has info from the official site as well as info from the nonofficial sources, so it's good to use it to get a reliable hunch until we have concrete information.

 

She sure doesn't look like 11.

Lucas just wants people to feel dirty for thinking she's fit.

 

No, I don't unless it has a source next to it.

And really, you can't judge the age of an alien by the way he/she looks. I mean, we just don't know how quick/slow they would age. And honestly, I don't think that's the reason the official age has not been released.

 

I'm hoping she's a little older. The way she's dressed is a little skanky for a 11 year old.

 

It's interesting that the databank says Ahsoka is fourteen years of age under Anakin's entry, yet doesn't even mention her age in the information provided in her own databank entry. Weird.
