Simply putting them in the wash breaks off the cheap-@$$ paint on them. Dry-cleaning is too expensive. Any pointers?

You should embrace the fact that one day, your shirts will die, as will you. It is inevitable. Embrace it.

How sad is it that about half my shirts come with some of the paint pre-broken?

To clean your fanboy t-shirts, simply stand up and let all the crumbs fall to the floor. Problem solved.

A true fanboy wouldn't wear them. He would keep them neatly vacuum sealed in plastic and displayed upon his wall.

I loathe those shirts. If I'm buying a Ninja Turtles shirt for $15, I want to have the experience of wearing it new with all the paint intact. I can wear it out all by myself, thank you very much.

Most of the people I see wearing Turtles shirts nowadays probably weren't even born the last time I wore one [face_worried]

That's exactly what I do. Makes all my shirts last longer (except for a terrible one I got off Zazzle...it died with one wash). Also, don't use the dryer. Just drip-dry them.
