Hi, I have been interestedin growing a jedi padawan braid myself, since I saw someother guy had a braid. Can someone please tell me how to grow a braid of my own hair from the start, like which part of my hair I have to let it keep growing, how much hair I need to make a braid, how to braid the hair, what sorts of stuff I need to keep the braid in shape, and I like Anakin Skywalker, how can I have a braid like his.
Anyone has the information are welcome to email me at tomyangyang@hotmail.com, your information would be very much appreciated!
    Tom

You will find that I also was one of the posters on the other Padawan braid thread. And I have grow "a tail" 4 different times.

Here are some basics: Anakins is behind the right ear, so you need to not have a small portion cut each time you go for a hair cut. Depending on the length of your hair currently, you may already have a good start or as in my case when I started mine, you may be starting from less than one or two inches of hair. How long and how fast it gets depends on how your hair grows. As for how long it needs to be, look at some photos to see how long it seems to be. You will need to grow it a bit longer as braiding will shorten it up a bit.

    Good luck
