I'm writing a fanfilm and I have a scene where a Jedi Master urges a Jedi Knight to join in a conversation. Now if it was the other way around, it would be "Master [Last Name]" so would the Master just call the Knight by his first name?

I think by his first name. Or maybe it's both.

Your answer lies in AOTC. Obi-Wan is only a knight, but Yoda refers to him as "Master Obi-Wan".

Just another quick question that I don't feel justifies an entirely new thread: what does Star Wars money look like during the time of the Empire? Is there even an established look?

No established look for Star Wars credits that Iam aware of but Han Solo throws the bartender something like a card after he kills Greedo.

Back in the day, even kings referred to their knights as Sir (name). Like how that youngling referred to Anakin as Sir Skywalker just before he unleashed the fury. Masters are Master (name), Knights are Sir (name), no matter who is addressing them. All IMO

A Jedi knight has never been called sir, except by a droid.

Well I'm gonna go with Master as per AOTC, and in ANH all I can see is a glimmer of something goldenish when Han tosses the bartender money, though the screenplay says he tosses him coins.

Well, Alec Guiness was knighted, and he is now Sir Alec Guiness. I Just figured this was the same "knight" position Lucas was aiming for, in turn figuring it would have the same title.

And didn't that youngling call Anakin Sir Skywalker? I may be wrong.

When an inferior or close friend is addressing you, it is Master.

When superior, it is merely the first name. Doesn't Obi-Wan call Anakin "Anakin" now that he's a knight?

    All IMO.

It could also be that they've grown up together as brothers. Anakin calls Obi-Wan Obi-Wan not "Master Kenobi".

I was under the impression that Obi-Wan was called "Master" because he had a pupil or padawan learner.

For the Knights of the Order recently completed the Trials and without an apprentice, I agree that they are called as "Sir".

    Padawan - Padawan

    Master - Master

    Knight with Apprentice - Master

    Knight without Apprentice - Sir

    That's what I would think.

On the subject of that kid who asks Anakin what they should do, I can't clearly remember it now, but both times I've seen it I've recognized it as "Master Skywalker". I suppose it could be "Sir".
