Howard Stern is looking for one of the Darth Nihilus @ C4.
I strangely work up from a cell from Howard Stern who somehow had tracked me down thinking I was the Darth Nihilus they interviewed at C4
    (It was not me though)

I seen only about 5 Darth Nihilus`s at C4 so he might not be hard to find.
I guess they interviewed him and really liked him and want to do some satellite radio stuff with him..

Howard said he had a unique voice..
If you know any of the Darth Nihilus`s that where at C4 please ask them if they where interviewed by Howard Stern`s radio show.
Then point them to this post and have then PM me so I can give them the number to Howard Stern`s show..

It would be great if the unique voice was that of a female ;)

Don't do it. Stern wants to make fun of the guy. He spent the beginning of this week on his"show" trashing the 'geeks' at C4. at least WE can keep our clothing on if we'er in his studio. <rolls eyes> Most of his 'guests' don't.

I do agree with that. I listened to Stern when he was on free radio (I wouldn't pay to listen to him). Usually when he wants talk to someone with a unique hobby, it is to poke fun and ridicule. I only thought it would be funny if someone they presumed was a guy was actually one of the female Nihilus. And if it were, it probably would quickly degenerate into 'let's see what's going on under there...'

ya, he wants to make fun of the guy. The guy souned like Don Imus and he(Nihilus) called the guy asking questions an "A" hole just for asking him if he has ever picked up a girl in his star wars costume. Nihilus could not take a joke. And if we(who dress up in costumes) can not laugh at our selves...well then you have the prob.

It was all in good fun. Who cares what he does on his show. Its not every day they have a stripper or porn star on. And if they do.... I just love when people who do not listen to Stern say "he is putting down women" How is he putting them down if they are the ones who get undressed for a living or F people on film.

If the Nihilus had a drop of a sence of humor he would have played it off. But he got p1ssed, and thats what they are looking for.

Right from the start Nihilus had a chip on his shoulder. That feeds right into What Stern looks for

Here is sound from the Nihilus interview http://sl2280.fileave.com/Nihilus1.wav he does sound alot like Don Imus [face_laugh] [face_laugh]

I agree, HS didn't have strippers on every day. That is why I would listen to his show. He was (and probably is still) funny and half the time I agreed with his take on people and current events in general. His interviews with celebrities were great, because he could ask them the frank questions nobody else had the courage to (if someone had been arrested, he could get them to talk about it).

I'm not trying to get into some raging debate, but I will say he exploits women who allow themselves to be exploited. I'm not talking about the porn stars, they have already chosen that profession. But the women off the streets. And he does tend to talk about women in a very demeaning sort of way. He puts women down as a whole by objectifying them.

If Stern thought that Nihilus sounded like Imus I can see why he'd like to have fun with that, and that does seem harmless (making fun of Don Imus if anything). But the guy was naturally defensive about the questions posed to him. So for his sake, I'd say no. Don't have anything more to do with the show.

But thats me. I guess I can only dream[face_hypnotized] [face_praying]

I don`t like or take disrespect at star wars fans.

dude we dress up in costumes. Every one but us and kids think we are dorks. and it is a movie and its just for fun. & why did you think they were looking for him??? to talk about his costume and how he made it? Its the Stern show for pete's sake, Not the wacky morning zoo radio show that is all hugs and kisses and happy hand claps.

It is, of course, up to the person in question whether he wants to go on the show. Regardless of whether the rest of the world thinks we're dorks, I would have no intention of putting myself in a situation in which the interviewer mainly wanted to demean and make fun of me. The supposed 15 minutes of fame wouldn't be worth it.

Just keep in mind that you won't get on his show with an attitude like that. :p He only takes people he think he can embarrass or make fun of, so if you let stuff roll off you, he won't be able to make fun of you. That's the extent of his comedy, finding easy targets for the show. I used to listen to that show sometimes, I'll admit, but I'm ashamed of it now. :p

I've a very healthy sense of humour when it comes to live and my whacky hobby. :-D

Some kids might think we'er dorks, but most don't when they see the lathed lightsaber.

If I were nilihas, I'd say to Mr. Stern.

"This my moonlighting job as security at a club. The girls LOVE the outfit.<wink>"
    Then I'd grin and laugh.

I think any hobby that can get a guy/girl to WANT to learn to sew, deisgn clothing, leather tool, metel working and movie FX and better quality props, more power to it.

    "Hi I'm Darth Nihilus"

This whole bit has played out brilliantly on the show. We all need to laugh at ourselves and this bit just proves it. For those of you who haven't heard the show they have taken that little sound clip of him saying "Hi, I'm Darth Nihilus" and put it to music and used in phony phonecalls. I am a Stern fan and Star Wars fan and I think finding this guy would be great radio. We all enjoy it when Conan makes fun of us why not Stern? If you take it seriously then you need to re-examine why your a fan

Stern stopped being funny when his wife divorced him. The whole point of the humor of the show was "how far will Howard go before his wife calls and gives him what-for about it?" When she divorced him...the whole reason for the show's existence was gone.

Yeah, I think that Stern is looking for someone to add to his Whack Pack. Don't encourage him.

you must not have turned on the show for the last 8 yrs. Any fan will tell you it is better then ever now that he is on Sirius. If anything the show got better when Jackie left. If you thought the show got less funny after his wife left, thats just from the jerks FCC that dump any funny bit that ther tried to play. It got to the point that Tom(the GM) would dump "The potty song" And that was right off a CD for kids to help them learn to pee.. What kinda garbage is that?? also he when ever he had farters on the Fart would be dumped if it was to long or to wet sounding.. Again thats what garbage the FCC has got radio stations doing.

If Stern was nnot funny Sirius woudl nto have got over 5.5mil to pay for it. And any knob that says " all of the 5.5 mil did not go over for Stern." Well you have to look at the fact that Sirius had only 500,000 and XM had about 6mil all before Stern said he was going to Sirius. And in less then a full yr. Sirius has over 5.5 mil and XM has only grew about 1.3 mil more. .

So what other "not funny" radio guy can get over 5mil people to Pay for him every month???

The fact is the show is better & stronger then ever.

    S_S edit: edited for language.

I respect what Stern has done. I know a guy who was an intern at WNBC back when Stern and Imus were there and he said that off the air Imus was a SUPER jerk and Stern was a really nice guy. However his show is not to my taste. I don't like how he really turns his compassion off when the mic goes on. If you like him, that is cool for you, there are certainly "Shock Jocks" that I find more offensive than Stern and I don't listen to them either.

My opinion is that this Darth Nihilus should not contact them. The difference between Conan and Stern is that Conan will make fun for a five minute segment. Stern has been on this for nearly a week now. I'm not saying it will be a life crushing thing that will ruin his life, and it probably will not be a vemomous attack or anything, but make no mistake they WILL make fun of this guy and be subtly if not overtly insulting.

    So "Darth Nihilus," be careful.

I'm kind of either way on this issue. The guy from Howard Stern interviewed me at C4 too, and as much as I knew he was making fun of me, it still didn't feel malicious. I tried to respond graciously with a tongue-and-cheek attitude, so they probably didn't put me on the show. XD

We like to go to Star Wars conventions, they like to make fun of people on the radio. *shrugs* But I didn't hear the broadcast nor have I ever listened to Howard Stern, so I suppose I'm not really that informed.

Howard Stern's people were at C4? I guess I'm glad that I missed that. Stern can be funny, but most of the time I'm not interested. I have no idea who they are looking for, but they really should have gotten the name during the interview; they're supposed to be professionals.
