    Click me for the auction.

Only a little over 4 hours left, and someone is going to be stuck paying a good deal of money for a jar, and a nicely fabricated story. Some people must have a lot of money to waste.

If you, or anyone that you know has a lot of money to waste, please contact me. I have jars. And those jars have things inside of them. No guarantee on ghosts.

Also, check out the parody, "Toast in a jar".

Compared to the "ghost" auction, this one is a steal. $10! Wow!

Someone once stole my Daddy's ghost and the jar. Mebbe this is him. I'd better bid.

    *bids*

    *bids again*

Good luck. Ghost, especially those in jars, don't come cheap.

    Try the toast.

Damn, the other night it was up to 99 million dollars.

    Ahhh, the power of Fark.

99 million seems a more than fair price.

I wonder how many bid cancellations, retractions, and deletions they've had on the auction?

Just at the 4 hour mark now. Time ticking away...

I've seen Ghost in the Shell by Masamune Shirow, but this takes the biscuit. Well, the toast.

I'm trying to get the people in the office to pool together enough money for this. I figure they keep killing the plants, they can't kill whats already dead.

This is pretty strange. The jar looks creepy, and the photos of the cemetery do appear genuine. In that third photo of the cemetery, you can see two figures. Very creepy. What do you guys think...real or fake?

    I'll stick with fake.

ANd the price just jumped from $14,000 to $550,100.00. [face_shocked]

The two "figures" could have easily been put in using an older camera, having two friends in place for a few seconds, and then leaving the frame.

Besides, they both seem to be dressed in clothing which looks awfully like some of the trash from the Gap.

That's amazing...I should run to the store now and buy some old jars and paint and then stick in a few pictures of my closest cemetary.

Then I'll have enough money to buy diet pills on ebay.. I can lose 95 lbs by July for the reduced price of $800.

    Mmm... mmm... diet pills.

And I just noticed in the "Bid History" thing all of the retractions and whatnot.

There have been quite a few.

I wish that I had the lack of morals to scam people. Then I'd be set for life.

I'll bet that the person who is selling it doesn't leave his computer. Makes me wonder what he's going to do with the money...

Makes me wonder what he's going to do with the money...

Maybe he'll just keep "finding" more of these jars and continue selling them.

Yep, he'll probably use the money to fund expeditions to find more things in jars.

Like trolls, elves, and leprechauns. Maybe even a fairy. Then whatever he finds will turn evil and haunt him to the point that he sells it on eBay. Thus making even more money, and continuing the cycle of jar finding.

Yes.. either that, or the 'black spirit' will attack and kill him for being so greedy. Why not share the profits?

Share with who? The disabled ghost charity.
Man I wish I didn't have scruples. I'd be rolling in jars right now.

    $2,000,500.00!

That bid will be cancelled, though. The bidder has less than a 5 feedback.

I suppose it's quite a small price to pay for someone's soul. If those movies in which people sign a pact with Lucifer are to be believed. Like the classic Bedazzled.

markh2654, who has 104 feedback (all positive) has bid one hundred million dollars.

If he actually pays that, I'm going to go into shock.

Real of fake, it looks pretty creepy with the pentagram and stuff on it. Probably some kind of voodoo...steal the money from your pocket voodoo. The guy has sleep paralysis though, not ghostly visits.

So wait, do this astronomical bids actually require confirmation or can anyone put down anything?

Because if someone put down 2 million and is actually going to pay it... [face_shocked]
