Huttwatch 2005! (list of all Hutts of the EU)

i figure if we have Jedi Counts and lists of the participants in Battle X, Y, or Z, or lists of all known species.. we need to give some props to the Hutts:

Hutts seem to be popping up everywhere, usually in the role of the greedy or seedy crimelord, but occasionally in other roles. Most of them end up dead by other people.

because they live so long, i'm organizing their appearances on the list in order of when they had their significant action seen.

From the movies:
Jabba Desilijic Tiure (crime lord extraordinaire, killed by Leia on Tatooine)

Bogga the Merciful One (ordered the death of Andur Sunrider)
Ajuur (KOTOR: fight organizer on Taris)
Motta (KOTOR: Tatooine swoop race organizer)
Zax (KOTOR: bounty broker on Taris)

Old Republic era:
Yanth (Black Sun vigo, killed by Darth Maul on Coruscant)
Wallanooga (aka Walla, wore an eye path, killed by Aurra Sing, former slave sent to be trained as assassin)
Borvo (blackmarketer of Naboo)

Empire era:
Mageye (bystander killed in crossfire by Zardra in the Stennes system)

New Republic era:
Zorba Desilijic Tiure (Jabba's parent, almost killed by Sarlacc)
Gorga (nephew of Jabba, husband of Anachro, hired Boba Fett several times)
Orko the Foultrader (parent of Anachro, rival of Gorga, killed on Skeebo by Ry-Kooda)
Anachro (daughter of Orko, husband of Gorga, gave birth)
Beldorian (former Jedi, killed by Leia on Nam Chorios)

Gardulla was killed by Jango Fett shortly after TPM. If you want to add that.

There was also a Korrda (sp?) who was a skinny Hutt that worked for Durga in Darksaber.

 

Also in the TOTJ era, Vogga from KOTOR II, a crime lord on Nar Shaddaa.

And wasn't there some Hutt in Dark Empire on Nar Shaddaa as well? (It may be on your list already, I don't remember the name)

ahh, i remember Zorba! He was in one of the ehem...lesser EU books <_<. I thought it was cool that my school library at the time had it.

 

Embra: TUF; Hutt military representative to the Federation. Also heard that he appeared earlier, and was Jabba's brother, but don't know where that material came from.

 

Shalera (female as far as that goes with Hutts). Alive and active as of a few months after ANH. She's from Galaxies, and based in Tyrena, Corellia, I believe.

 

Does anyone have Darksaber with them? At the Hutt's formal dinner with Han and Leia, IIRC, a sleugh of Hutts are named.

 

There's also Malta from the Underworld miniseries. Embra's in there, too.

IIRC, Orka is still alive. He couldn´t have been killed by Ry-Kooda, since Gorga considered hiring Boba Fett for killing Orka at the end of the comic, what makes it necessary, that Orka hadn´t been killed.

I seem to remember a Hutt, who never had the desire to be a crimelord, who repaired and sold salvaged droids. R2-D2 and C-3PO had a run-in with him, although I can't remember his name...

There's that one in Medstar: Battle Surgeons that gets blown-up, but I foget the name.

Huttese Tons of Huttish info in WotC's Hutt! Hutt! Hutt! Articles. The rest are on links in the side bar, 7 in all. Some good EU info there.

This HNN story has Soerrg the Hutt in it, along with his full name, Soerrg Vosadii Bezhin.

Just a suggestion, but maybe we should also have a list of Hutt clans, and maybe one of anonymous Hutts, kinda like in the ARC thread.

 

I remember there were two Hutts in the Coruscant and the Core Worlds book, Groola in the Corellia entry, and some Hutt in the Nubia entry whose name I cannot recall.

Then there's Nocka the Hutt, who teaches my Algebra class.

EDIT: Prall, that's the Hutt based on Nubia.
