Ethan Sacks has written in the ST era before, in particular the Galaxy's Edge and Allegiance limited series from Marvel from a few years back. Possible we might see some familiar faces.
So, I think it's off to a good start. Still wish they ignored Poe's spice runner past, but at least they're making it "come in handy".
