NYC, NY Hypothetical Situation: Fake IDs

Ok, hypothetical situation: I've been livin in NYC for a while now, and in all that time, I've thought about getting an ID that says I'm 21, and everyone always assumes that in NYC it's so easy to get a fake ID and it seems people always manage to get them, but I've never actually found a place that does, let alone a good one, so....Hypothetically, if i WAS to get a fake ID, does anybody know what places might i go to, that is, IF i wanted one (which of course in actuality I wouldn't because we all know that would be wrong )

They are not easy to find anymore. The place I got mine closed. And even if you did manage to get one most people want better than most fake ID places can provide. Most liquor stores and places that sell cigarettes want two forms of ID if one is out of state or looks suspect. Also The tri-state area has really gotten strict regarding the use of fake IDs. For instance, to get caught with one can mean a suspension of your driver's license now. It's just not worth it. Chances are a place that will sell to a minor will do so regardless of if they have an ID fake or otherwise. Which is wrong, but it is the way it has always been.

 

Gotta go with Lady Sith on this one, not worth the potential danger.

And besides, what do you want one for anyway? I mean you can get served in a bar in NY, I was never carded when I was 21 (and I looked 17). Or to by cigerettes (if that's your thing).

That being said, go down to St. Marks Street, on the south side of the street about 1/3 of the way between 3rd and 2nd, there is a place (one of thoes T-shirt/jewlery/soviner shops) that makes 'Identification Cards' not 'Fake ID's

 

Those 'identification cards' never look like the real thing though, can't use them anywhere. And bars aren't really a problem either, but any decent club won't even look at you without an id
