I feel cold

Personally I find it almost impossible to find what I am looking for in the search so if it is there tell me where and go ahead and lock this. That being said:

I was watching ESB last night and we come to the sceen where Luke must go into "the cave". While Luke and Yoda are sitting outside Luke says something to the affect of "something is not right here I feel cold" and Yoda tells him it is the dark side he is feeling.

Now maybe I am the only bone head that missed it to this point but lets all remember back to TPM when a young Anakin is asked how he feels and he responds "cold sir". There must be some connection

I am not trying to talk about a Jedi traitor or anything like that but why would Anakin feel the dark side of the force in the Jedi council chamber? Or am I making something out of nothing?

I think so... He's a 9 years old boy, who misses his mother, and the coucil is just about to decide his fate. It's a great stress, many ppl used to feel cold in such situations. BTW he felt cold already in the ship. Padme also states that Tatooine is extraordinarily warm planet, so he might feel cold both "inside" and "outside".

EDIT: this is somehow related to the DS though, since according to Yoda Fear is the path to the dark side... fear leads to anger... anger leads to hate.. hate leads to suffering.

 

It's all Qui Gon's fault. Anakin should never have left Tatooine.

 

Perhaps the common thread between both scenes is the fear felt by Luke and Anakin in those scenes.

 

I just took Anakin's line to mean he is cold in space. His first time being in the cold of space, being from an arid hot desert planet.

I did not even make this connection and I think it has merit, but perhaps a little overanalysation on your part.

I have thought about both options
that
#1 I am simply finding something that is not there

and that

#2 he went from a warm planet to space from nature to metal

But to me it seems like a veyr GL thing to sit back and say "hey guys you know I have always liked that sceen in ESB lets use a line from there to tie things in."
