I hate the human body with a passion.

Is it not the most disgusting thing on the face of the earth?

All these fluids and oils in our skin that pour out to keep us cool...but they get trapped in the hairy recesses of our bodies, causing that godawful stench.


And the expulsion of waste--gag me. Our bodies turn something wonderful...the smell and flavor of fine foods and turn them into one of the most foul items known to man.

(though i really should think though that women have it worst in the expulsion of waste catagory....bleeding for no apparent reason... )


Good God...even reproduction is a stomache churning process. Shooting fluids into each other to procreate. And even then, those fluids have been known to cause disease from time to time.

And the "miracle" of birth...the water breaks, spilling gallons of placenta all over the place, and then in massive amounts of pain and a bit of blood, this little purplish thing comes into the world screaming like a freakin banshee. (as Jeff Foxworthy once put it..."a wet saint bernard coming in through a cat door")



It really aint worth it.

I can't wait until I'm loose from it, vulgar piece of filth that it is.


IN the meantime...maybe I'll get lucky.

I love the sploosh you hear when that little purple alien ejects from it's cocoon. Blood, guts and amniotic fluid all over the place. A true example of explusion.

 

How about the fact that the airway and the pharynx are right next to each other?

Yeah, let's put the air intake right up against the food intake so that you can aspirate food into your lungs if everything isn't coordinated just right.

 

I only hate the souls contained within the bodies you loathe so much.

The mystery of the three sea shells still baffles me to this day though.

 

I hate the bodies that trap the souls and smother them within layers and layers of weak, ineffectual tissue.

but the body itself, at least on the outside, is actually beautiful. and some of the less-disgusting stuff is really interesting.

I like the human species.
