Cool Ranch! Nacho Cheese! Spicy Sweet Chili! 3D?! Go crazy, Doritos! You can do no wrong. Also, their Super Bowl ads are simply the best. I can watch them over and over again and just laugh and laugh. I love them. The time machine one, remember? Come on! So good.
Even though they're mostly variations on the standard triangle chip, at least Doritos have some natural differences between them. Not like those freakishly uniform Pringles. Also, they come in a quite a few good flavors. But yeah, Doritos breath is... not good.
Cool Ranch Doritos is a dangerously underrated chip - the 'girl next door' of bagged chips. Choose Cool Ranch. You won't regret it.
Doritos are absolutely vile, but I can't stop eating them. The only vegan flavor I've found is Sweet Chili (called Hot Chili in the UK I think); would like some more flavors, though maybe it's for the best that I can't eat even more of those horrible corn abominations.
I always get Doritos whenever I'm hosting a game night. They used to make this Taco flavored Dorito that was really good, I don't see it in stores anymore.
Hate to say it, but knock-off Doritos are almost as good and often less than half the price (especially now). Usually, I'm not a fan of the store brands, but with the exception of the humble potato chip, the simple combo of a tortilla chip with a tasty flavor salt coating seems the easiest to mimic. Knock off Cheetos, on the other hand... Don't know what it is about a corn puff/curl...but the competition can't crack the formula. Can't get close.
I like the regular ones, but I obsess over them. I can eat a whole COSTCO bag by msyelf. My other obsession is peanut M&Ms
