We say this all the time in my house. Whenever something slightly strange happens, such as my little sister actually *returning* a phone call, I will think and possibly say out loud, "I sense a disturbance in the force."

When one of the kids is displeased with a decision we make as parents, one of us will inevitably quote Sidious: "Everything is going as I have foreseen!" (Or whatever the exact quote is!) Followed by an evil cackle of course.

I sense this should be in the SWC.

 

I always use movie quotes. Once my friend was carrying some sodas inside and my mom told me to go help her, so then I said, "I will help you bear this burden, Jen-chan, as long as it is yours to bear."


And when we are pulling out of the driveway to go somewhere, my dad says something dumb about "We're making the jump to hyper-asphalt!" or some similar nonsense.
