Would you think less of me as a person, or someone who is pretty darn brave.

I saw it this morning. I am a looser. I was so bored, but I am still a looser!

Actually it was perrty good, and the guy called Leslie was hot.
All in all a good film.

I love that movie. It pisses me off though that Jo turns down Teddy and then he goes and marries Amy  Particularly when Teddy is played by Christian Bale. Christian Bale=yummy [face_love]

My mom made me see it in the theater when it came out. I wanted to shoot myself the entire time.

However, a few months ago, I was severly sleep (and apparently judgement) deprived, so I watched it on HBO. I guess it was better, but still, kinda blah.

How Winona Ryder could be stupid enough to give up Christian Bale for that old guy, I'll never know.

I hail you for watching Little Women. You are the greatest because that movie is cool. Not to mention you are also extremely brave enough to find out whether or not that movie is actually "gay" or not as my best friend's little sister put it. I love the part where Jo and Teddy are dancing at that ball, parading across the room together doing that jig. And that sweet sweet little scene between Teddy and Amy. Quite the ladies' man isn't he?

Jo is stupid because she turned Teddy/Leslie down.

She must like older, ugly men.

Leslie. hehehe. I like it. :D

His name was Laurie actually (not that that's much better!!) and yes, I agree Jo was a bit of a twit to turn him down and go for the professor.

//gets a kick out of guys who like Little Women

That's a really good story. I love the movie, except Beth dies, which is really sad! :(

And I think the Professor is cool. And it works out because Laurie ends up being Jo's brother, which is how she thought of him all along anyway.

I also enjoy this movie. My parents gave it to me for christmas a few years back and I've watched it several times sense.

I didn't want Beth to die though.

The old one isn't bad at all, actually. I haven't seen the new one, got no real desire to do so . . . It's not like Winona Ryder is a better actress than whoever was in that old one, er, gah, can't remember her name . . .

It was just a tad too sad for me though. Not melancholy, not poignant, not shattering, all of which would have been great, but it was just sad in a "Oh-let's-kill-someone-off" kind of way . . .

Oh? I loved that movie! :D
All I gotta say, seeing Beth die was sad. :(
And what happened to Teddy? In the beggining, he was so sweet, and then he turns into a-- [face_blush] ya know. . .

Well, I will admit first seeing this movie in 1994 because I'm a fan of Kirsten Dunst. But I just fell in love with the movie. My mom LOVES the movie and we watch it every Christmas. I actually have it on DVD and love Armstrong's commentary!

It's a good movie! And while I am not a fan of Amy after she grows up (Samatha Mathis is SOOOOOO boring!), I bawl like a baby over the death of Beth. I love that scene. Anyone else besides me own Thomas Newman's score?

OK, yes, I am a man and I love the movie. Always have.
