Hey, got a quick question. I'm playing a Noghri Bodyguard in an RPG, and need to know what the Noghri call Luke. I can't find it in my books. Thanks.

They never met him? You should go back and read the Thrawn Trilogy. I think that he's Son of Vader.

given their tendency to have matriarchal hierarchies, perhaps the noghri refer to luke as Brother to the Lady Vader.

    ;)

Thanks for the help guys. I do admit, Lord Vader would sound cool, but if "son of Vader" is accurate, i'll go with that.
BTW, I play with a small group in
Greenwood, South Carolina, if theres anybody in that area, we are looking for new people................Send me a PM if interested.

You know, those names make no sense at all. Do the Noghri think Sithness is hereditary or something? And if the Noghri view descent matriarchally, why don't they refer to Luke and Leia by either their biological mother (Mrs. Vader :p ) or their adoptive mothers?

they never knew about Padme or Beru or Leia's adoptive mom... remember, despite their matriarchial society, Darth Vader is quite important as they believe he saved them from ruin. oftentimes, having a link to a hero might be more important a title than tradition.

as for the rest of the Solo/Skywalker family:

Jacen = secondson of Vader, son of the Lady Vader
Anakin = the other secondson of Vader...
Jaina = daughter of the Lady Vader, seconddaughter of Vader
Ben = secondson of Vader, son of the son of Vader
Tahiri = bizarre girlfriend of the other secondson of Vader
Mara = consort of the son of Vader
Chewbacca = life partner of the consort of the Lady Vader... mmmm.. life-debt partner, that's it.

    Forgot a couple, JJ....

Jagged Fel: boring sometimes-consort to the daughter of the Lady Vader, seconddaughter of Vader.

Callista: the consort that the Son of Vader SHOULD have consorted with... ;)
