If you came across an elf and a Vulcan, could you tell the difference?

Whats the deal with pointy ears anyway? Is it just because its easy to do makeup for?

 

The question is, why do both species have unisex haircuts?

 

They don't, look at Galadriel. However, elves would just be like, "OH, you're a dead foo now!!!" and shoot you. Vulcans would just be like, "Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm."

Also, you've never seen a male elf.

 

Simple, make it bleed.

If it's green, it's Vulcan.

If it doesn't bleed, it's a shape shifter and you better escape quickly.

 

Vulcans sing songs about hobbits. Elves do not.

As a lfielong student of studying Vulcans- I can say without any reservation that I would be able to tell the difference if faced with such a scenario.

The Vulcan would be logical. The Elf would have a gown of some description.

 

Elves don't have to worry about living long, or prospering for that matter.

 

Also, Elves aren't concerned with the needs of the many outweighing the needs of the few.

 

The Elf would say something like, "to sheep, no doubt other sheep appear different." A Vulcan would never be so blatantly entertaining or rude.

 

duh, an elf would never run around in a pyjama with a phaser in his hands! Elves are all for swords and bows, or so I've heard.

If you can't tell by the ears, the eyebrows are a dead giveaway. Vulcans have straight eyebrows (male vulcans do, Spock, Sareck, well, Savek, they're straight).

Elfs are the ones that smile occasionally while Vulcans do not.
