If you seen the movie As Good As It Gets, what breed of dog is that in the film??

    Does anyone know? That little pup is a cutie. Jack N. didnt care for it much though.

    I haven't seen the movie, but if I remember from the commercials... it's a pug.

    that dog would be a Brussels Griffon which can be read about here
    or at the offical site for the movie for the specific dog that played verdell here

    In my opinion, this is one of the most underrated films of all time.

    I believe the correct breed name is "Pissant mop", or I could just be confusing this with a term Jack Nicholson uses for it in the film.

    It isn't really underrated in my opinion, Windy. It's an awesome movie and has been recognized as such.

    Nicholson and Hunt both picked up Oscars for their acting while Kinnear, the screenplay and the picture were all nominated but lost. It won 3 Golden Globes and performed well at the box office.

    Check out "About Schmidt" if you haven't already.
