The hostile and toxic planet of Quesh resides in Hutt Space. It is a place where outside the air is toxic and an oxygen mask is crucial to surival. On the surface The Hutts have built great bronze facilities to mine materials for Adrenals that are coveted by The Hutts and of interest to all.

It is into this fray that many factions will find themselves battling in perhaps the most inhospitable place in the galaxy…

IC: Aleric Qel Droma
Arrival



The Gray Jedi Novice’s ship came out of hyperspace near one of the Moons of Quesh. Hutt Cartel cruisers blockaded space nearest the planet.

The Successor of Qel Droma left the bridge and said to Cort Driet .

“To get planet side, we will have to use pods, and arrive separately. Make sure you wear your respirator on the surface. We will rendezvous at The Refinery. May The Force Be With Us.”

Aleric made his way to the pod bays and boarded. Inside was cramped as the pod closed around his body. His larimair blue and gold robes he rolled up on his lap, and adjusted his Acolyte mask with the O-tanks fitted beneath his chin. The pod closer in around him and jettisoned into space like a missile planet side. The pod passed great tan and brass colored Cartel cruisers, none of which seemed to detect the pod as it entered the atmosphere, creating a trail of fire. The pod slowed its descent as it landed in soft terrain of orange sand. The pod opened and Aleric leapt out, the breaths of his mask breaking the silence. He took a pack from the pod, and removing a chrome orb from it, he pressed a button that turned on several emerald green lights and tossed it in the pod. Aleric made distance between him and the pod as it shroomed in a ball of flame and black smoke. The ground beneath him rippled with a minor tremors, the visibility as he ran was low, a great yellow fog cloaked everything on the surface.

IC: Cort Dreit
Arrival

Cort headed to the pods and sat herself in one. She adjusted her cream Robes so that they didn't get caught, she also put on the mask that stood next to her and the pod jettisoned into space. The scanners did not detect her or the pod as it entered the planet. Cort landed shortly after and left the pod as she activated the mask. She then started heading to the refinery, her Sliver hilted Lightsaber dangling at her side.

Refinery

There were great bronze colored smoke stakes that bellowed black clouds like streams. They rose like towers in the yellow fog and from them massive copper piping went underground. Aleric made his way to the piping, there he waited at the Refinery for his Gray Sister, he took out a small little blue orb and pressed it, it strobbed in the clouds of mustard, a signal to draw Cort’s attention.

Prince of Quesh


Iuta (Ooh-ta) The Hutt

The Blockade of Hutt Cruisers was not merely standard security posturing. The Cartel Fleet had mustered to meet the arrival of The Prince of Quesh himself. Iuta’a ship came out of hyperspace and held above the sea of tan and bronze ships which began to pass one another and make rows like troops getting in line.



The Black Jewel suspended and then a smaller vessel came forth from the cargo bay, with two Gauntlet fighters escorting it to the surface.

The Vessel soared across the Mustard sky and came to a facility guarded by a AT-ET, a walker from The Clone Wars that had cost Iuta a fortune to restore. The vessel landed on the landing pad which then descended underground.



A bronze door opener and Iuta made his slow slide across the floor, two Mandos walker beside him, one of who had markings of the Purge and Death Watch.

“Home at last..”

The Hutt said in surly tone.

Iuta slithered into a room where an assortment of races stood, Rodians, Neimoidians, and others.

The Hutt tool his seat on dais, his black leathered frame shimmering beneath the lights.

A Yellow Male Twi’lek approached in white robes and bowed.

Iuta grimaced.

“Tiba, so many wanting my precious cargo, and so early in the morning!”

Tiba nodded.

“My Prince, they have all offered double the standard fair. But one of them wishes to meet privately and discuss purchase of the..”

Tiba drew closer to The Hutt, and whispered.

Iuta smiled, it crossing his long chubby face.

IC: Cort Driet

Cort was walking along when she saw a blue glow in the distance. She headed towards it. Once she found the source it was her gray brother, Aleric. She crouched next to him.

"What are we looking at here then, Aleric?" Asked Cort.

Reunion

At last the two Gray Jedi were together. The odds now being more favorable. Aleric turned off the orb light and placed it in his pack.

“For starters we need to use these.”

Aleric removed square explosive charges from the pack.

“We need to place them alomg the piping. They will be our insurance and bargaining tool if things go south.”

The Gray Novice handed four sqaure white and orange stripped charges to Cort, and he took the other four.

“Place them at vulnerable points in the piping, like in the arches.”

Aleric headed to one of the large pipes, and wrapped his legs around the large piping, and began to inch his way up till he was upside down, his cape and robes dangling as he placed a charge in the bent piping arch.

IC: Cort Driet

Cort take the charges from Aleric and headed towards another pipe. She placed one on one of the arches and skillfully hid it so that only she knew were it was. That is if Aleric was not watching her place the charge. She then proceeded to put one right at the foot of another pipe and the other two near the centre of another two pipes. She then jumped down onto the ground and reached out to Aleric via the force and told him that she had planted her charges.

Sentries

The Krath Jedi did a somersault and landed after putting the remaining charges on other arches. He sensed Cort calling out to him in The Force, she was smart, shouting might alert some security droids, one of which he saw when dangling above, a HK Unit with its brass armor and yellow eyes:



Aleric moved into the shadow of one of the arched as one of HK droids approached the piping. The Gray Jefi Novice called to Cort in The Force,

“The Force is with us. If we can, evade them, if not do whatever you must to defend yourself. But be mindful, if we destroy them, it will likely trigger a lock down. We need to get inside, underground, before that happens.”

Aleric darted behind the HK Sentry, which turned its head with metal creaking. He made for a manhole with a red blinking light that strobbed. He ignited his peridot green saber and dug it into the latch, and ot opened, no alarm sounded.

Aleric waved with his gloved hand to Cort to dart to his position and head down the ladder underground.

Cort watched as the young Jedi used the force to his advantage. She did the same. She used the force to mask herslef and darted over to the grey Jedi. She then started to climb down the ladder and once she reached the bottom she waited for Aleric.

Into The Belly Of The Beast

Aleric was impressed, Cort masked her signature so well the HK unit paid them no heed at all. After Cort descended, Aleric followed and now they were in a tube like hallway of bronze, with yellow rectangular lights.

“Impressive Cort, where did you learn to cloak yourself like that?”

Aleric ignited his Peridot blade to give some extra light and to ensure he was ready to meet any threat that may lurk in the shadows.

"Thanks, I learned it from an old friend" Said Cort as she ignited her own green bladed Lightsaber. It was true. As she started to walk down the corridor she kept glancing behind her to make sure that Aleric was behind her. She just hoped he didn't say anything about her missing head tail. She did not want to go into that story again.

Choices

The Gray Novice listened intently as Cort took point. He looked at her missing tail, but sensed it was something to discuss at another time. His own wound, a red spiked sun rays around his right eye was concealed beneath his mask, the mark of the Black Guard.

As the proceeded forward, there was sound of clanging, a figure with cutter and green googles and respirator was tending to some ductwork. Aleric knew they would be spotted with their brilliant lit sabers, so now he had to decide what to do. They could try to persuade the worker not to raise the alarm, that being The Jedi Way, or he could use his Krath Magic, and make the Worker feel great fear.

The Gray Jedi decided to take the option with a greater chance of success. Too much was at risk, “the end would justify the means.” Even as he said this to himself he saw his ancestor Ulic’s grim face reminding him not to take the same path he had.

Awakening



Aboard The Bendu, in a room full of cryotubes, one stirs as the hatch begins to rise. A bald albino man of great height begins to move, tentacle onyx colored tubes removed from a respirator.

Udin stood up in his Nagai armor of obsidian and gray. He took his robe which lay beside the tube and drew hood like a veil over his face. He saw three other pods were opened and empty. He made hisway into the rib cageshaped hall and came to the escape pods, two missing.

The Nagai Warrior madehis way into a mesa hall of circular shape and there issaw someone.

Drain Knowledge


Aleric’s eyes began to glow white as he drew towards The Worker who when he turned, Aleric placed his hand on his forehead.

“You will forget us.. you saw no one, your memory of us will be no more.”

The Workers eyes glowed white as he repeated Aleric’s words and then stumbled and fell into unconsciousness. The Gray Novice had used his Krath craft in a Jedi Way, much like The Mind Trick, but permanent.

“Come Cort, we must press on.”

They were heading to Harvester, where The Hutts refined the materials into their precious adrenals.

Dana sensed someone approaching and turned around to see a Nagai warrior approaching him normally he would have reached for his saber but he sensed no danger from him he bowed a greeting and said hello my name is Dana Garr what is yours?

The Nagai smiled, his pale white chin contorting beneath the hood.

“I am Udin-Metheus. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”

He drew closer in his charcoal robes and took a seat on a bench.

“Pardon my veil, I find light to be harsh on my eyes. To some it can seem menacing.”

Approaching Quesh


The Sith Acolyte ascended into the atmosphere of the planet, Her ship, The Battle Hydra landed on the platform effortlessly. She grabbed her Anti-toxin mask, and put it on and descended her ship. She had come to talk to the Hutts. The thought of being in their presence revolted her. But she was there for a purpose, and she had her mind set on her mission.

She made her way, to the officious-looking building and hit a switch on the intercom:

"Lady Virulenta to see his excellency" her voice sounded robotic through the mask.

Welcome

A great orb like eye came out of wall and spoke in Huttese in response.



It then returned back inside the door which opened, raising above Darth Virulenta. Inside some Gamorrean Guards stood, they did not approach her, but tremble as slim dripped from their tusks.

Tiba approached in his white robes and gave a bow to the Lady.

“Welcome Lady Virulenta. My Master has been expecting you and has arranged a private audience.”

The Twi’lek walked beside the Sith and ushered his hand toward the interior.

Tia walked at his pace "his excellency is most gracious" the mask hugging her face was irritating her to no end, but still she decided to play the humbled guest and did not remove until invited to do so. "Your master, he treats you well?"

IC: Iuta The Hutt
Meeting

As the gate closed, the entrance pressurized.

“You may remove your mask my Lady. We shall now go to Iuta’s private bar.”

The Twi’lek led the way inside a labyrinth of stairs till they came a brass door with two Mandos standing armed with rifles. One of them banged on the door with his fist and it opened. Inside was a room full of decadence, Twi’leks dancing in slave bikinis of metal alloy, and assorted species smoking from pipes connected to moisturs evaporators. It was a den of carnal delights, but The Master, Iuta, was not among it. Tiba instead led the Dark Lady beyond into a room where there was no light show or smoke, but a dais and Iuta upon it. The dais was black obsidian and had gears fortelling its ability to move.

Iuta looked up, his eyes fixed ok the Darth who had come to represent her Empire.

“Welcome Lady of the Sith.”

The young Sith removed her mask, and her long hair flowed instantly, though was now tangled and messy which annoyed her. She sneered at a dancing Twi'lek as their eyes met, how demeaning she thought to herself before presenting herself to Luta with a bow

"your excellency" she smiled. "I thank you for meeting me at such short notice"

The Hutt smiled.

“When The Sith call it is wise to answer.”

Iuta motioned to a seat of fine woodwork, gold leaf and white cushion.

Bowed her head and sat on the soft cushion and settled "you will find I am not like the other Sith lords, your excellency, you might say I am an irritant to the True Sith Empire. But we all have to make our own decisions, something I admire in the Hutt's is that your prowess for business is impressive, which is why I am here..."
