The mere thought of the fighting skills of a Noghri Jedi is just frightening. I can just see him, lightsaber in one hand (clear so it can't be seen :) and combat knife in the other.

Wow...NJO needs one (or more) Noghri Jedi

    I'd rather see a Nagai jedi, ;).

Actually give me a noghri and a nagai jedi.

But considering Noghri only have a short life span, a jedi noghri wouldn't live very long, maybe just a bit longer than other noghri, :(.

Think of what you find great in noghri, and that's what the nagai can do equally. Nagai were an invasion force of the GFFA, a few months after ROTJ.

That pic Val showed was from an article at TOS. Here's the link to it. I suggest you read it, DP.

    Terror From Beyond the Rim

Its pretty old, but still neat. Very imformative for someone who dosn't know much about Marvel or WEG, like yourself. Take notice of the imfamous "Next" button at the bottom of the page.

Gee, a Noghri-Jedi sounds about as "kewl" as star-wars-god himself, Grand Admiral Thrawn, but not necessarily as "kewl" as Mara Jade. Heck, why settle for a Noghri Jedi when you can have a perfect Corsec-Starfighting-Ace Jedi. Oh wait, we already have one.

    What crappy ideas all around.

But, wait - let's see if we can't salvage it.

First off, we'll have to give our Noghri something that passes for "character depth" in the post-91 Star Wars universe. We make him have a mysterious past. Not only that, but this Noghri Jedi was the Emperor's most trusted servent - even closer than Darth Vader was. In fact, our Noghri Jedi - we'll call him Khabhara Blade - has stood up to the Emperor, not once but five times. His power in the Force was unparalleled and he was allowed to become one of the Emperor's five Dark Jedi Lords - and the only non-human one. However, after serving as the Empire's deadliest weapon, he has since redeemed himself by crashing his hoverbike into an Imperial complex. Since the loss of his beloved ride, he has become a force of good in the Star Wars galaxy.

How's that for a kewl Noghri Jedi - Khabhara Blade.

Did anyone know that rukh was originally going to be in the emperor's pawn's article as one of emperor's hands? of course that was before the rule in the Darkside sourcbook, that says hands can only be humans, so it was scrapped from being printed.

    JMA...
Hmmm - yes that does look rather negative. I didn't mean anyone else's posts. By all around, I specifically meant the ones in my post - God-Admiral Thrawn, Mara Jade, a Corsec Starfighting-Ace Jedi and a Noghri Jedi.

But, you're right. It's maybe a workable idea. I don't think poor Khabhara Blade is "kewl" enough to hang with Thrawn, Jade and Jedi Horn.

How else can we make Blade even kewler...
It can't be enough that he was...

The only non-human Dark Jedi Lord.
Stood Up to the Emperor five times.
    Was more important than Vader.
Was the deadliest agent in the Empire.
Was redeemed by destroying his beloved vehicle.
    Became a Jedi.

He needs some more things to make him even kewler. Help poor Khabhara become a kewl character so he can hang with the rest. What else does he need?

Noghri have on average a 20 year GSY life span.

So we can have are noghri Jedi, clone himself in the Hand of Honoghr, so that he can always be reborn, and not be limited by his species lifespan problems.

    Good one, Valiento.

We can have our kewl Noghri Jedi be the only non-human Emperor's Hand in existence. Certainly, that's got to be kewl, right?

I can see rivers of fanboy drool forming now over the sheer kewlness of it.

Even though Noghri are hairless, our kewl Jedi Noghri can have a red pony-tail. That certainly has to be kewl. He got it from single-handedly shutting down a reactor from one of the crashed Dreadnaughts saving his entire clan. The radiation he received was enough to make him go through an agonizing sickness, but not leave any permanent changes other than the red pony-tail.

Prior to being the only non-human Emperor's Hand, our kewl Noghri Jedi served as Lord Vader's first private assassin.

In fact, the whole reason he became Force-sensitive was because Palpatine fused some of Anakin's ultra-midi-rich DNA into Khabhara's biology. He isn't just any Jedi Noghri - he's the Chosen One Jedi Noghri.

    Man, how kewl is that.

A Noghri Jedi would be cool as long as he would fight like Kyp is, Not saying he's completly right its just that the Vong are different.

Yes! Of course, JWK. Our Noghri Jedi must of course walk the razor's edge between light and darkness to truly be considered kewl.

Noghri Jedi... Cool idea. But what the heck does 'kewl' mean? Is it an abbreviation? Or a slang term? (I'm not a native ENglish speaker)

ANd I must state that Corran Horn should NOT be classified into the same gategory as Thrawn or Mara. Have we seen any weaknesses on these two? But Corran... Can we say human being? NOT as a speciesistic comment, but in the lack of a better term. You know what I mean....

But still, a NOghri Jedi would be a good idea...

If Noghri lives are so short, why do some of them have great-grandparents alive and stuff?

Also, isn't the Noghri lifestyle a little close to the Dark Side for them to be Jedi? (Ducks as the Noghri-lovers use the Force to assault her with heavy objects)

Ghengis, it's not nice to bash people (or characters) just because they are better at something (or everything) than you. :p

Ara, kewl is pronounced like cool, and it means cool, too. But it's a... hum... sorta 'ironic' way to say cool. At least in that case...

"If Noghri lives are so short, why do some of them have great-grandparents alive and stuff?"

They have children young like rabbits, ;).

Well, It's the guide to aliens that sets a date of age for them, while less than 10 years(I rechecked, and have to correct what I said before by memory) is average lifespan, a few do make it to 20, or more though. Really it doesn't say how old they are before they become adults.

For your information the guide says

"I made the mistake of thinking a noghri generation is 20 years long, when it is less than half that."
