In AOTC who died on the gunship

In AOTC Mace,Yoda,and Ki Audi Mundi are in a republic gunship when they look to the ship next to them when it blows up.Were there any jedi in that ship and if so who??

I didn't see any lightsabre colours on that gunship, so I think it was only full of Clonetroopers.

I wondered about this myself the last time I watched AOTC.

I need answers

 

Im pretty sure that there isnt any Jedi on the gunship just troopers.

 

By the time the gunship explodes Mace and Ki-Adi-Mundi already had deactivated their sabres as well.

Just because we don´t see any ignited lightsabres at all in the other gunship,
doesn´t mean that their haven´t been any Jedi on board.

Seems to be a question for the official sites Jedi Council.

 

Nobody knows for sure.

But I seriously doubt it had Jedi on it. If I remember correctly, in the Arena, only three gunships pick up Jedi. Mace, Ki-Adi, and Kit get on one of them with Yoda, Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Padme get on one, and the rest of the Jedi get on the last one. Now, that means Aayla Secura also got onto that last gunship, and she is seen later on during the battle, which means she made it to the Battle safely.

I think there were just Clonetroopers on the one that blew up.

 

I'm fairly certain it was the gunship filled iwth nameless jedi extras, the guy who looks like Miachael dorn, the girl witht he weird head tendrils (at the side of the JC screen), the girl in the purple gown everyone likes, there's a quick shot of them all jumping on the gunship in the arena.

 

Yes, but why are you so certain it couldn't be just another gunship? There were dozens of gunships all flying around. And remember, Aayla survives.

Either way I think its better if some jedi get offed int he gunship, it gives it more impact,a nd they all have to die int he clonewars anyway so it makes sense.

 

Aayla is the blue twilek Jedi:

She survives the Arena battle and is one of the Jedi along with Ki-Adi and Plo Koon herded into the surviving circle:

Later on, during the final wideshot of the Clone War battle, we see Aayla near the front of the battle:

Since we only see three gunships load up Jedi in the Arena, it's safe to assume the gunship that was destroyed did not have Jedi on it.

Besides, why kill them? They just die later on, but that doesn't mean they have to be killed on screen. Since they are of no big importaince in the movies, they could be told about in the Clone War novels. Why kill off what could be potenially great novel characters? Even if it is, EU [face_shocked]

He means Shaak Ti not Aayla.

No jedi from the arena were onboard that gunship. It may have had jedi that came with Yoda but otherwise there weren't any jedi on it. Three gunships landed in the arena and we see passengers from all 3 on the ground. The third gunship had Aayla Secura and she is seen on the ground battle so all arena jedi survived to at least the ground battle.

 

I reckon there was at least 4 gunships carrying jedi. There was (I believe) 20 survivors.

1st) Yoda, Mace, Kit, Ki-Adi-Mundi.
2nd) Obi-Wan, Anakin, Padmé

I don't think 13 Jedi got on 1 gunship.

However, I also think the gunship that kablamoed carried only clones.

 

Anybody see Eeth Koth in that group of survivors? Of the extra jedi, my favorites were: Plo Koon, Eeth Koth, Kit Fisto, and Sassee Tinn...

Well in the books Owen and Obi-wan are brothers so I don't really take them as being true.

Ya, but the ROTJ novel was written while GL was doing ROTJ, so the author wouldn't have all the facts straight.

The Clone War novels are being written after the movie came out, so I'm pretty sure the authors would make they're not writing about a character that is already dead.

 

Uh Aayla is actually teal but that's okay and yes she does survive, but does Shaak Ti survive?
