This is pretty amazing. Hard to believe that one guy did all the animation. Definitely makes me nostalgic for the old TIE fighter computer game

It was awesome except for the Rock music which took me out of it a bit.

Just when I think I've seen it all something new and wonderful comes out of the creativity of the fan film community. The style here is just gorgeous, and the compositions are so creative.

    Rick McCallum loves you!

It definitely wasn't standard Star Wars stuff, but I thought it kinda worked in the classic 80's anime style they were going for, it reminded me of old Macross or Gundam episodes

There are metal versions of several star wars songs out there that I think could have worked even better. I love the short though and wish Disney would green light something like this.

Watching it again, did anyone else notice that when the Empire is in "everyone man their stations/get to the ships" mode, someone seems to have gotten into an AT-AT and started it walking? What is this guy even planning to do? Does he think "All-Terrain Armored Transport" means it can walk in space? Is he just trying to look busy to avoid having to actually fight? Is he just drunk and confused on the job? Truly a pressing mystery.

Yeah, I really enjoyed this. If anime was still drawn in that style, I'd probably still be watching. The level of detail in this is great. And it's fun.

I'm not into anime, but I definitely enjoyed it. I think a made-for-tv movie in this style would be cool. They could take popular EU / Legends stories and animated them for tv.
