Nah she’ll probably die in first episode

 

That’s never a given. Often, the most well-known actors in genre TV and film have small roles, including in Star Wars. Forrest Whitaker, Max Von Sydow, Mads Mikkelsen…

And yet, the expectation seems to persist that well-known actor = a major role. It’s a fascinating phenomenon.

 

Can’t wait to see this badass. Fingers and toes crossed she survives for a good length of time. Love Carrie-Anne Moss.

She's one or the other for sure...maybe both

 

I tend to agree that she will die in the first episode. We’ve only seen her character in that one fight scene with Mae and in what appears to be a flashback scene from an earlier time period.
She might be the Jedi who was murdered in the new trailer and the catalyst of the entire season’s plot.

 

We also see Mae walking away from what looks like Indara’s fallen lightsaber.

Yeah, I suspect she’s the one that’s murdered, setting the plot in motion.

 

Yes, I wonder if it could even start with the discovery of the dead body, then the entire season is told in a series of flashbacks, each episode focusing on one lead character’s story leading up to the murder, and their motives for killing Indara, making the viewer suspicious of each before ruling them out as a suspect. If Mae isn’t explicitly shown killing Indara after their duel, she might not be the one who actually did it. This would be the same structure of recent popular murder mystery series like Elite or Only Murders In The Building and something we haven’t ever seen in a Star Wars movie or show before.

Seems quite possible. Maybe in flashbacks it will also be revealed that Indara is not an innocent victim, to the point of being secretly allied with the Sith, Dooku-style.

 

At this point, the biggest surprise to me would be if she weren't the victim. It sure seems likely to be her. We'll know in a week I guess.

 

In the latest featurette released, Carrie Anne Moss was asked what her favorite scene to film was. She of course said the fight with Amandla, because, you know, that’s nearly the only scene she’s in.

 

Ahaha I also thought the same! But could be a twist though! I also thought the twist could be in the end we find out she that she was the bad guy all along…

 

Yeah, I'm pretty much resigned to the fact she'll bite the dust now.
