Indy 4- What a piece of junk!!! What a waste
of time & money. They never should of brought
it back. That's the best they could come up
with. I'm not gonna go into what i didnt like
about til everyone sees it. IRONMAN was much
better.

 

Yeah, they did kind of overstep the previous mystical happenings with the aliens. I found the idea that religion is founded by fact and the drives itself way more interesting than the idea that aliens affected earlier societies. It just seemed like an excuse to through in more special effects. Good movies are good with or without all the CGI

 

the aliens thing was so bad. The big blast in the begining of
the movie was bad. Indy looked horrible in the part
(trying not give it away to people why havent seen it yet).
Why is everyone named after a dog?

 

I think the idea was that Joneses don't seem to get along with their fathers well, and their true love is the family dog, so they take on the dogs name as a replacement to the name they had forced upon them, and once they like their father it has already become habit.

 

perhaps you should add a spoiler warning to the post, the alien thing is basically the whole story.
