Instead of wearing glasses, can someone wear two monacles?

If someone wears a pair of glasses, he or she is wearing two lenses. A monacle is one lens. If someone who wears glasses wears two monacles of the same strenght of the glasses lenses, then would there be no problem?

Monocle = one eye glass.

Spectacles = two eye glasses.

So I guess a pair of spectacles = two connected monocles.

 

I dont think in the history of the world has anyone been so villianous to wear TWO monocles.

 

Why do people wear monacles? They just have one messed up eye and one normal eye?

It's quite common. Hence the monocle.

I think it also happens with people who wear subscription glasses. One eye is slightly different than the other.

 

I have never seen anyone use one though. lol

 

Yeah I think spectacles are the fashion choice, even if it's only for one eye.

Don't you mean prescription glasses, not subscription glasses? Glasses are something that are prescribed to you, not something to which you can subscribe yourself.

 

You have to kinda squint to use a monocle... it'd be pretty tricky to squint with both eyes.

Monacles have a special piece that lodges it in place. There's no need to squint unless the monacle doesn't have that piece installed.

 

I wish I was an eye doctor so I could prescribe everyone monacles. lol

Monocles are cool!

I'd much rather wear them that the bifocals I was prescribed (not that I ever wear them anyway).

 

I might get Lazk in just one eye. Hlaf the price, and I get to wear a monocle.
