Is "Anti-Porn Guy" for real, or is it the ultimate parody?

In 2000, I found a site run by a pimply-faced teenager named David McNamara. He is an extremely fundamentalist Christian. He hopes to run for President in 2020, on a platform including such gems as the banning of pornography, jeans, and interracial marriages. He also wants to confine all homosexuals to mental institutions, as well as executing drug users, transvestites, and a bunch of other people who offend his morals. Eventually, his site ceased to be updated, and later went away, leaving only a couple of mirrors for those wanting to read his ramblings.

However, I just found his last known site, as well as his (no longer updated) online journal. At first I was alarmed by the fact that his views have actually hardened in the time since I last read anything by him, but then I started reading his journal, and the sheer extremism of his prejudices has me thinking this could very well be a colossal, masterful hoax.

Does anyone know of ol' Davey, and do you believe he's a prankster, or do you think he's the real deal?

 

It sounds like a hoax to me. Unfortunately, there are too many people who hold the same views.

Does he has those thought? Oh well he would not be the first and certainly not the last. The more attention you spend on him the longer he's going to continue. Ignore I'd say.

Actually, though this is unlikely, people might get sick of politicians being wishy-washy ("I belive in American" but that is all the politician will say he believes) and go for someone that believes in something, no matter how distasteful.

You're right and I also get sick when Christians use religion to justify violence. Christ had to be one of the most hardened pacifists in history. He was the one that taught us to just chill out!

 

I have no trouble believing this guy is for real- he's like a little David Duke. People on the far right and those on the far left, need to do things like this and make as much noise as possible so we can keep an eye on them. Fortunately, they're usually SO creepy that most people save other whackos, don't pay any attention to them.

You wanna see someone really screwed up, look for Reverend Fred Phelps. This guy put the 'mental' in fundementalist. He's a pastor who sent most of his congregation to ridicule and intimidate the family during the funeral of Matthew Shepherd, the young gay man who was murdered by men. This man is pure evil.

I don't like Christians using religion to justify violence, but I wouldn't call Christ a pacifist.

EDIT: Also, what's the deal with banning interracial marriages? What's "UnChristian" about marrying someone from another race? I am a Christian, and I think this guy, if he's real, needs to go home and rethink his faith.

i've met enough people like him in real life. he's one of those that turn people off from Christianity, sadly, by his attempts to shove his religion down everyone's throat.

 

King of the run-on sentences that just go on forever and you never know what the subject is it really is pretty darn annoying. Amen.
