I'm beginning to wonder if his mask is indeed a Togruta skull. Even better, I'm wondering if its actually Raana Tey's skull and is worn as a trophy. Considering the relationship between Raana Tey and Zayne Carrick, that would be pretty frickin' cool. But before somebody goes off on me for assuming Carrick will become Darth Nihilus or states that it is impossible for Carrick to become that evil..........try to have an open mind, cause anything is possible. ;)

The mind tends to go a lil' crazy at 2am while I'm stuck in my office. :_| [face_laugh]

By Jorj, I think you're right!

His marking's and head dress design (at least the jewel things in the front) look a LOT like Shaak Ti's! You deserve one of those medally things people give out for slick ideas!

Hmmm...until we see how it plays out, we don't know if it's absurd enough to warrant one of Thrawn's awards. Hmmmm....

    HEY McEWOK! C'MERE A MINNIT!

After killing Nihilus, aren't you allowed to take his mask as an item in the game?

yes, but it can't be worn or anything...you just get to keep it.

Nihilus is great because he's completely anonymous...could be human, or not...could be male or not for that matter...we assume since he was addressed as male while Nihilus, but it could very easily be a female who masks gender identity in that form.

Nihilus could be something else completely...at this stage, who knows...that's what's great...an enigma...and personally, I'd rather keep at that way a good while longer.

Actually, didn't the comment after you examine Nihilus' body after defeating him read something like "Just a man, nothing more?" or somesuch? That seems to imply a male gender, at least. Or am I misremembering that? I could've sworn there was a comment to that effect in there, reflecting the irony of the massively powerful Nihilus still ultimately being mortal.

    Love the theory. =D=

Kreia: One cannot possess power of that magnitude and remain human.

So, he was human... before he became more magic than man... so to speak. Or, to use Kreia's words, "more presence than flesh"

    Yup.

Upon his death, if you allow Visas to approach him, you get this exchange:

    Exile: What did you see?
    Visas: A man, nothing more.

    Nihilus = Bloke.

Everything else about him is shady and undefined, however, aye. [face_peace]

Dig the theory, be a great link between the comics & games..if not for the events of KOTOR 24- could still be a Togruta though, just not Raana..

Well...good point, It's a shame they killed her off so quickly, she had alot of potential as a rouge Jedi. But he could easily still use her skull. Especially if Carrick is him and (bare with me here...) Raana is one of the Jedi that helped push him towards the dark side by showing him that the Jedi are also capable of evil deeds such as killing Padawans and trying to justify it.

Plus another add-on to my theory is that it looks like two lekku (or the bone part that would be part of a Togruta skull) underneath his hood on both sides of the mask/skull.

Not so much eyes as kind of black holes in his face.

Well, in the game when Visas removes his mask and the others ask what she saw she says "just a man", so he was presumably always meant to have a face under there. Admittedly, the line in Legacy where Krayt says something about him anchoring his spirit to his armour has always confused me, as it made him sound more like a walking suit of armour without a body.

Yeah, have they said when this alleged "death" of his was supposed to have taken place yet? His death on the Ravager, or something earlier?
