Is it ok to tell a girl she has hot nails

So I go subway like 7-14 times a week and there's a cute tamil girl who works there with those flowery pattern nails you got done at the Korean nail shops

Is it weird to compliment them, I feel like doing it but I don't wanna get banned from Subway cos their turkey sub is fantastic.

Also my sister goes to this subway 5 times a week so i don't want akward questions to be raised

So should I say her nails are nice?

I had a friend do a similar thing, but with a Quizno's. I think he can't go back there now.

 

1) Ask where she gets her nails
2) Ask her out
3) If she says no, go and buy similar nails then send them to her manager saying you found them in your sub
4) She gets fired then you can continue to go to Subway. Win-win

I started to get weird looks from the whole staff at the video store after I flirted with one of the counter girls, I think she left like a perv note or something in my membership records, probly best leave it at a professional level

 

Go in with your sister and tell her to compliment the girl's nails. Then be all like, "Oh . . . yeah!" like you just noticed. Maybe then she will become your sister's friend and therefore someone you can safely hit on without risking access to yummy subs.

I once dumpster-dived out an old edition of the Man Code, and am fairly certain that an unchaperoned male can only comment on a woman's nails if he's:

A) Looking for a manicurist for his wife
B) Hoping to get his own nails done the same way
C) Like . . . a nail doctor, or . . . something
D) OBIWAN-JR

The good: If a guy complimented me on my nails, I'd most likely be flattered and wouldn't think him a perv.

The bad: I'd probably assume he's gay.

If a guy ever complimented my nails, I would just brush it off and assume he's gay. It kind of sucks, but it's the truth. So you're in the clear.

 

A guy I know had his nails painted because he lost a bet. He was buying a bagel at Einstein's later and the guy behind the counter complemented him on his nails. I believe he said "I like your nails"

I don't recall ever handing out a compliment about nails. Hair, clothes, face, eyes, but not nails.

 

I don't remember ever thinking that a woman's nails were "hot." But then again, I don't randomly compliment women I don't know on their looks.
