Perhaps there were members, who never wanted to live under the new rules of the Jedi but also didn't become darksiders, still following the old ways.

Could it be that the original order still exists? Perhaps somewhere in the Unknown Regions?

I actually imagined, at some point, the Je'daii would need to be reformed.

The Jedi and Sith need to come to some kind of compromise at some point.

Sith: Let's compromise. You ignore your ideals and teachings and lets us rule the galaxy, and we don't activly try to kill you. Sounds fare, right?

That is remarkably fair by sith standards. Check see if they have their fingers crossed behind their back!

More seriously - you know, while I doubt they would exist completely unchanged over so much time, the fact that it is established in canon that the first jedi temple was on an Unknown Regions planet, as well as other ancient sites in or near the UR like Illum and Jeddha, I could see there being other groups in the Unknown Regions with a common origin of the jedi, representing different branches of the Jed'aii that became cut off from the rest of the galaxy at some point, or even splinter branches of the jedi and sith themselves.

  6. I believe in the New Canon The Force works differently you cant use Light Side or Dark Side at the same time in Legends The Force seems to be Neutral

You say that, @Gamiel, but even Sith learn at some point. They definitely reformed their approach several times over.

Sith and Jedi are complete opposites. A compromise would require both orders to fundamentally change their beliefs.

Sometimes compromises are impossible. This would be such a time.

A Jedi-Sith coexistence would probably look a lot like SWTOR. No doubt individuals within each order would frequently cause tensions, with individual Sith wanting to reign supreme and individual Jedi wanting to vanquish darkness.

i'd say so. Various factions and theologies of force wielders seem to be aplenty in the new canon.

  12. Now that the New Dawn of the Jedi Movie has been announced the possibility of the Je'daii Order existing in the New Canon is higher than ever
