Is it spelt Anakin or Annikin?

I always thought it was spelt "Anakin" but I've just seen it spelt "Annikin" which is right? Or are they both right?

 

The first one, with the "a" in the middle. Where did you see the second spelling?

It may be someone referencing Annikin Starkiller, if done intentionally. Otherwise, a typo.

 

They could be, since there is an "Annikin Starkiller" on SW fanon, I was taken quite aback when I saw it spelt like that as I've never seen it spelt like that before.

 

I don't know how much stock can be given to that site given the term "fanon" is in it's title. I would say despite everything else from first glance being canon, the name itself is fanon.

EDIT: Just went through the site. It is a fanon site, so it is not the correct spelling. If you click on "Alternative guide to Star Wars characters" link on the sources part of the page, it takes you to the page and it clearly states it's fan fiction.

 

It was spelled "Annakin" or "Annikin" in some early drafts of the original Star Wars, but it hasn't been spelled that way, at least canonically, since then.

 

I have read several EU books (canon) and it is always spelled "Anakin." I agree with the others: it's been spelled different in the past, but Anakin is the official spelling.
