Is Nickelback's "How You Remind Me" the worst song of all time?

I believe it shares this glory with "We are going on a Summer Holiday".

 

Nickelback sucks,they might have been okay like 11 years ago

 

I have no idea what it is, but there's no way in hell it's worse than The Macarena.

 

I liked it at first, but after hearing it every 10 minutes on the radio, it got annoying. I like their cd though.

Not so long as "Blinded by the Light" is around. I don't know who sings it because every time I hear it (luckilly it's "a classic" so you don't hear it often) I try to claw off my ears, or turn the station. That's the worst song ever. That or "How Bizarre."

 

You know something is bad when 11-15 year olds go round proudly proclaiming a certain band is their favourite. Yep, Nickleback suck. They're songs are catchy, but thats all they will ever be.

 

No... that "Hella Good" song from No Doubt is hella crap.

I saw No Doubt in Glastonbury this year: they were quite good, even though I loathe their music with a passion.

Nickelback's Silver Side Up is better than most crap I hear on the radio these days. The first track is my favorite.

 

Its definitely up there.

 

The only thing I know is that I feel compelled to change the channel when that song comes on. I rate that song up there with "Afternoon Delight" in terms of pure annoying suckiness

 

Crap,crap crap.Three cords were 2 hard for them,so they thought"lets write a song on 1 string!"

 

I love it when people tell me that that songs reminds them so much of me.

 

I won't deny it's been overplayed, but I can say that for just about any song played on any given day.

 

Well just about everything played on the radio is crap.just like that linkin park band.They never played a show before they got signed!They were made big.Crap crap crap

O-Town, N*Sync, Backstreet Boys, Britney, etc, etc.

Whatever happened to the bands that
a. write and play their own instruments
b. worked hard to get to where they are

I heard somewhere that there was like 2 weeks in the US where that song was always on the air somewhere....Every second. For two weeks.

 

O-Town, 'N Sync, Backstreet Boys are all terrible. At first I like "How you remind me", then I hated it, and I'm back to liking it. I'm going through stages.

I agree, Hella Good is annoying.

 

Hella Good is godawful. I yell at my girl everytime she listens to that crap.

 

It makes me want to strangle kittens.

I agree, it was decent the first 1,298 times I heard it. On 1,299 it turned into an annoying song.

Far from it...pretty much anything by Whitney Houston, any boy band or pop princess, Weezer, Green Day or any Seattle band wannabe is far worse than anything Nickleback does. Having said that, Nickleback wouldn't qualify to pour the coffee for Guns N Roses, as my good friend GRANDADMIRALAXLROSE would attest to!

I'd say music is worse now than it's ever been. I laugh at how MTV or Rolling Stone magzine make whatever is out today to be the best thing that's ever happened. Yet, when the trends change 10 years later, they look back on the music they originally said was good and trash it to no end. More stupid superficial crap coming out of the crumbling world of music.
