And if not, why not? He doesn't contradict any of Star Wars, and he's one brave droid! An inspiration to the rest of us...

Is his story Infinities? If so, his story is not canon.

    Actually that's not bib's quote, that's LFL's quote.

    You're kidding right?

This is one of the silliest Peter David stories I've ever come across...and you're wondering if it's canon?

    I mean..."midi-chloroxians"?

It's a gag, dudes. 'Nuff said.

BTW, I don't buy that many Dark Horse SW books anymore, but are certain stories actually being tagged with an INFINITIES label on them?

Only infinities series, tales, tag and bink, and sergio stomps are labeled infinities.

Tales have a disclaimer on the inside that essentially says they're not cannon. But that you can take them as such.

I haven't read it, but I have heard of it... basically it's the droid R5-D4 (The one that the Lars' bought, but it blew up) and he turns out to be a droid who can use the force....

    No, I am not joking....

    BTW: Actually that's not bib's quote, that's LFL's quote.

I know, but Bib is in constant mention of it, and it really ticks me off...

How could that possibly tick you off? All I'm doing is telling the truth. It wouldn't matter in any way if it was me or someone else saying the LFL canon policy, because it is still the same policy.

Infinities is not part of the official continuity. It's like an alternate universe sort of thing.

Sergio Aragonnes Stomps Stars Wars is a parody, but it was retconned "Infinities". The label did not exist at the time of its printing, but I think everyone knew it was not in continuity after reading it.

Well, actually tales was retconned infinities as well, as was devilworlds series(though the series did hint at it's own appocryphal nature in the letter in the forward), early articles by pete janes called the series a part of the star wars canon. But like everything else when peet janes left, they spit on alot of the stuff he had set up, and started slapping infinities labels.

On which issue of Tales did they actually add the Infinities label? I don't have my copies handy.
