So, a month or two back, we all saw a photo of the cast for the upcoming new Star Wars movie. One thing many people mentioned was, the case is primarily a bunch of white guys. Only one woman was added, other than Carrie Fisher; and that one woman is likely just a love interest. And there is generally no people of color....even the couple of people of color look white. Yes, i know that there will be plenty of alians...mostly CGI. But what about the human cast members? Is there only one type of people in this world?
John Boyega looks white to you? How do you know that she's not the main character? Yes, there should be more women and persons of color in Star Wars, but your speculation has no basis, nor does your call that the existing people of color cast are not actually people of color.
Besides which it's not bad to be white and SW has no obligation to represent everything that is currently 'in'.
