Is there a specific term for discrimination against midgets?

If not, there should be. I imagine it would sound exotic.

Typically,small people don't like to be called midgets. They prefer "little people".

 

I was going to say heightism also. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a real term for it, though, given how many other -isms have been coined.

 

I actually think it is heightism.

It's probably a discrimination against a disability. A midget is a midget because of an abnormal chromosome problem at birth.

You know I always used that term and I looked it up and it's apparently quite well known and commonly used. There for this thread can now be closed as I along with Q-Sith here have solved the mystery.
