    Obviously this is the most importaint question any of us have ever faced in life 8-}

    For anyone who buys French Onion Dip, you know the day after you open it, it gets watery. I don't know about the rest of you, but I hate it when this happens. It tastes awful.

    Is there any possibly way to prevent this so called "dip" from getting watery. I'm desperate. I just opened a new container and I don't know what to do [face_shocked] :_|

    Eat every bit of it as soon as it is opened.

    Of course this will lead to a whole new set of problems.

    Once it gets watery, it doesn't taste "awful." All that you need to do is drain as much of the liquid off of the top and then stir the rest into the dip. It will be fine.

    :cool: Mace Windy,
    too windy for spoilers!

    try putting a piece of plastic wrap inside the container on top of the dip and put the lid back on.. dont ask me why or if this would work.. i've never tried it .. just a random idea haha

    Obviously you don't share my taste buds, my old friend 8-}

    I do. However, it still has the "watery" texture which I hate.

    I must try the "plastic" idea. It's all I've got :D

    French onion dip is runny like the people it's named after.

    Windys right, but if you want to you could try heating it up to evaporate the liquid

    Sawdust will soak up that extra moisture nicely.

    if plastic wrap doesn't work, try putting a paper towel over it to absorb the moisture, or several layers of paper towel. and, yes, do re-mix it after pouring off any liquid that separated... :D

    You're first mistake is buying pre-made dip. Homemade dip is much better and lasts about three or four days before getting watery.

    Amazing.

    I was going along, looking around the JCC for some threads on poop horror stories, and I found this thread. . .

    Instantly my mouth went dry, my palms got sweaty, and it got hard to breathe. I've never heard of anything so incredibly horrible and wretchedly vile! :eek:

    Uh oh, I think I'm going to be sick. . .

    //projectile vomits on thread

    Seriously dude, just pour off the water like the rest of us. :p

    I suggest the same thing that most normal people do, stir it in... The watery stuff is nothing more than the separation that happens when you leave something like that or iced tea sitting too long...

    It gets runny because it starts to seperate. Just give it a good stir before you use it and it will be fine.
